Excellent presentation–US superficial analogues to the Amsar of the Arab conquest? If so, like all else that this administration and its ilk implements, seriously misconceived.
Engelhardt is also right on target about the uses of “historical”, or in this case, “journalistic”, distance.
It’s so chilling and depressing to hear him use that phrase, “facts on the ground”. Now that the US has been turned into a gigantic Israel, obviously Iraq is to be our West Bank.
