Here’s a clip of CNN’s Master Spinners as they 1) relate unanimous MSM(!) accounts explicitly stating that Israel broke the cease-fire in November, then 2) explain it all away in the age-old propaganda technique of (contrived) controversy:
Another subtle victory for the Hasbaraniks. “Thanks, CNN. We couldn’t loot U.S. taxpayers without you.”

The deaths of innocent Palestinian women and children is awful, and our hearts should break for every single one of them that is killed or injured. Their life is just as sacred as the lives of Israelis. But on the other hand, just remember this: The HAMAS terrorist scum purposefully hide in schools and hospitals. Not only that, they have fired thousands of rockets at Israel and, more importantly, where do these low-life Islamo terrorists fire their rockets from? They fire them from schools and hospitals and residential homes with women and children in them. So when Israel returns fire, these innocent people get killed. It is Hamas and these cowardly terrorist that willfully put their women and children in the line of fire.
Do you really think the Israeli Minister of Defense wakes up in the morning and says “Gee, how can we kill more Palestinian children today, or “What schools and hospitals have not yet been bombed?” It is Hamas that makes these people into targets. The Hamas leaders fire from schools and hide in schools and hospitals. They are the ones that are putting innocent people at risk. How about putting at least some of the blame where it belongs: On Hamas terrorists. How come almost everyone on this site only sees things from one side?

Its called “Collective Punishment” and it is designed to terrorize the inhabitants into accepting their miserable fate or leaving the area. Do I think it is purposeful ?
ABSOLUTELY. AND BARBARIC.

Former CNN Chief Pentagon Reporter, Jamie McIntyre, stood in front of the Pentagon on 9-11 and said (I’ll paraphrase) we don’t know what hit the Pentagon but it WAS NOT AN AIRPLANE. He went on the explain that the fire and the building collapse happened after whatever it was that hit the building hit it. He was adamant that no plane hit the building. Neither CNN nor McIntyre have ever explained his epiphany. I have personally emailed the question several times and have never received a reply. I wouldn’t believe a sports score I heard on CNN.

Has Israel at any time offered evidence of its’ claims that Hamas or anyone else was firing from schools, hospitals, mosques, homes, ambulances or markets? Have they offered any proof that weapons were stockpiled at any of these locations?
MarinaJanuary 8th, 2009 at 11:34 am
Israel created a blockade of Gaza before hostilities began. This is an act of war. So from that perspective Israel is clearly the aggressor here…

Tim R asks:
“Do you really think the Israeli Minister of Defense wakes up in the morning and says “Gee, how can we kill more Palestinian children today, or “What schools and hospitals have not yet been bombed?â€
Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if he does. You see, most of us cannot guess at what a genocidal mind will cook up, because that mind – like a serial killer’s – focuses strictly on their own side and never on the other – except as an enemy. Truth is that as we sit, barak – your hero – is wondering what hospitals, mosques and schools are left to be bombed (they may well be running out of targets). That’s because part of the ‘campaign” by israel is to sow terror into the hearts of palestinians and cow them so they’ll become sufficiently submissive prisoners. And the killing and maiming and starving of civilians is part of such a campaign. So yes, the methodical massacre of children, women and men IS part of the purpose of israel’s attack against the gazans, and is done in all deliberation. That’s why we are all reminded of you know whom.
“The HAMAS terrorist scum purposefully hide in schools and hospitals. Not only that, they have fired thousands of rockets at Israel and, more importantly, where do these low-life Islamo terrorists fire their rockets from? They fire them from schools and hospitals and residential homes with women and children in them.”
Now when has israel ever furnished proof of any of this? the IDF has just recanted its earlier version that the bombed UN school where 40 died and another 100 injured had militants firing from there. partly because there were UN personnel there who provided credible counter claims, following a thorough investigation. besides, given that all of gaza is essentially a prison camp, just where would hamas mount their resistance from? and aren’t Israeli army bases located in the midst of population centers too? this line of argument is a strawman, and is merely good as part of the talking points to try and explain away the unexplainable.
In summary – it is the IDF and their cheerleaders who are the true scum. gaza has shown the majority of the israeli population to be the militaristic blood-thirsty bunch that they are. no wonder the world is filled with revulsion.
“The deaths of innocent Palestinian women and children is awful, and our hearts should break for every single one of them that is killed or injured. Their life is just as sacred as the lives of Israelis.”
Problem is, none of the more civilized people around the world believe a word of what you say. It’s just another PR point. Your actions speak louder than any words. just think – what if the population surrounding the ‘scum terrorists’ were jewish? (say in a hostage situation – think Beslan). Just how readily would the shock and awe be conducted? and what would be the reaction in israel if 220 children of their own were slaughtered in cold blood and another 5,000 injured, even as the rest go starving? after all, they go all misty eyed for one sodier, don’t they?
just meJanuary 8th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
” It is Hamas that makes these people into targets.”
That’s funny. So why does israel first claim that the ot territories are ‘buffer zones’ and then want to move its capital closer to its borders?
I believe one of the founders of Hezbollah (correct me if I am wrong) had his family’s orange groves taken away by Israel and is not allowed to return and Israel has not offered a dime in compensation (that the US would end up paying for anyway) Israel has ignored countless UN resolutions. What would you do, if you were Palestinian?
Blaming and naming Palestinians ‘terrorists’ is a simple minded no-think short cut to taking a good, hard look at the situation. Israel is, was and will always be an expansionist, ethnically based state. Trying to have such a state on other people’s land will always cause problems.
Frankly I think most pro-israel posters by now, know they are lying. But they have the media on their side, they have the politicians in their pocket and they can get away with lying. If the occasional loose canon points out a lie on MSM, the lie is quickly and generously repeated and the truth never gets out. Unfortunately, it seems to be working all too well.

liberranterJanuary 8th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
It’s also completely ineffective. Never has collective punishment against an occupied people by an occupying force accomplished anything other than to breed more determination than ever among the occupied to throw off their yoke at all costs. Israel should’ve learned this after it’s two decade-long misadventure in Lebanon during the 80s and 90s.

A cursory glance at the photos of the hole in the south side of the Pentagon makes that obvious, even to a blind person. The hole created by the “projectile” is neatly symmetrical and very narrow, far too narrow to match the fuselage footprint of a commercial jetliner with a wing span of over one hundred feet. The fact that they never found any commercial jet wreckage inside the building gives one pause as well. For the life of me I’ve never understood how the whole plane crash story has stood up to scrutiny, given the obvious disconnect between the photographic (and forensic) evidence and the “official” (and nationally swallowed) myth.

Tim once again engages in name calling, using as usuall buzzwords in order to deligitmize the Palestnian cuase, dehuminize Palestnians resistnces, and demonize them. He sounds
like a spokesman for the IDF assigned to this site.
““Do you really think the Israeli Minister of Defense wakes up in the morning and says “Gee, how can we kill more Palestinian children today, or “What schools and hospitals have not yet been bombed?â€
Actually their stated policy is to spare none.ON Febraray 29 last year,Israeli deputy defense minister,Matan Vilnai, threatened the people of Gaza with ‘holocaust’.
“The bombings were timed to cause the maximum number of “enemy†casualties. They occurred at approximately 11:20am on a bustling Saturday morning, just as schools were changing shifts and many children were either leaving for home or coming to afternoon classes; when offices were filled with their employees, and streets busy with the late morning crowds out getting lunch or on quick errands of one sort or another.”
““HAMASâ€â€¦ the word that, in this case, renders any action taken by the other side, no matter how barbaric or sadistic, legitimate. Couple any noun with the preceding adjective “Hamas†and it will be immediately quarantined as if tainted by some infectious bacteria. This is how to dehumanize a million and a half people overnight; how to render them different from us and dangerous to us. While it is true that a poll showing what the average American knows about Hamas might be cause for concern; a poll showing what the average elite-educated American knows about Hamas would reveal immediately how effective voluntary indoctrination in democratic societies has become and why those with the power to stop crimes against humanity overnight refuse to do so even after they understand that what they’re doing is wrong.”
The goal of ultimate of Israel is to force the Plastetnians to give up resisting the brutel occupation, and give the dream of ever living in their land.
They know that the horror now raining on Gaza has little to do with Hamas or, absurdly, “Israel’s right to exist.” They know the opposite to be true: that Palestine’s right to exist was canceled 61 years ago and the expulsion and, if necessary, extinction of the indigenous people was planned and executed by the founders of Israel. They know, for example, that the infamous “Plan D” resulted in the murderous depopulation of 369 Palestinian towns and villages by the Haganah (Jewish army) and that massacre upon massacre of Palestinian civilians in such places as Deir Yassin, al-Dawayima, Eilaboun, Jish, Ramle and Lydda are referred to in official records as “ethnic cleansing.” Arriving at a scene of this carnage, David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, was asked by a general, Yigal Allon, “What shall we do with the Arabs?” Ben-Gurion, reported the Israeli historian Benny Morris, “made a dismissive, energetic gesture with his hand and said, ‘Expel them’”

For any one is interested in some histroy of Israel defesive actions.
“So once again, Israel has opened the gates of hell to the Palestinians. Forty civilian refugees dead in a United Nations school, three more in another. Not bad for a night’s work in Gaza by the army that believes in “purity of arms”. But why should we be surprised?
Have we forgotten the 17,500 dead – almost all civilians, most of them children and women – in Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon; the 1,700 Palestinian civilian dead in the Sabra-Chatila massacre; the 1996 Qana massacre of 106 Lebanese civilian refugees, more than half of them children, at a UN base; the massacre of the Marwahin refugees who were ordered from their homes by the Israelis in 2006 then slaughtered by an Israeli helicopter crew; the 1,000 dead of that same 2006 bombardment and Lebanese invasion, almost all of them civilians?…
The Sabra and Chatila massacre was committed by Israel’s right-wing Lebanese Phalangist allies while Israeli troops, as Israel’s own commission of inquiry revealed, watched for 48 hours and did nothing. When Israel was blamed, Menachem Begin’s government accused the world of a blood libel. After Israeli artillery had fired shells into the UN base at Qana in 1996, the Israelis claimed that Hizbollah gunmen were also sheltering in the base. It was a lie. The more than 1,000 dead of 2006 – a war started when Hizbollah captured two Israeli soldiers on the border – were simply dismissed as the responsibility of the Hizbollah. Israel claimed the bodies of children killed in a second Qana massacre may have been taken from a graveyard. It was another lie. The Marwahin massacre was never excused. The people of the village were ordered to flee, obeyed Israeli orders and were then attacked by an Israeli gunship. The refugees took their children and stood them around the truck in which they were travelling so that Israeli pilots would see they were innocents. Then the Israeli helicopter mowed them down at close range. Only two survived, by playing dead. Israel didn’t even apologise.
Twelve years earlier, another Israeli helicopter attacked an ambulance carrying civilians from a neighbouring village – again after they were ordered to leave by Israel – and killed three children and two women. The Israelis claimed that a Hizbollah fighter was in the ambulance. It was untrue. I covered all these atrocities, I investigated them all, talked to the survivors. So did a number of my colleagues. Our fate, of course, was that most slanderous of libels: we were accused of being anti-Semitic.
And I write the following without the slightest doubt: we’ll hear all these scandalous fabrications again. We’ll have the Hamas-to-blame lie – heaven knows, there is enough to blame them for without adding this crime – and we may well have the bodies-from-the-cemetery lie and we’ll almost certainly have the Hamas-was-in-the-UN-school lie and we will very definitely have the anti-Semitism lie. And our leaders will huff and puff and remind the world that Hamas originally broke the ceasefire. It didn’t. Israel broke it, first on 4 November when its bombardment killed six Palestinians in Gaza and again on 17 November when another bombardment killed four more Palestinians.”

An Introduction to the Israel-Palestine Conflict
Lear KJanuary 8th, 2009 at 4:26 pm
“In July 2006, Israelis, including former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former members of Irgun, attended a 60th anniversary celebration of the bombing, which was organized by the Menachem Begin Centre. The British Ambassador in Tel Aviv and the Consul-General in Jerusalem protested, saying “We do not think that it is right for an act of terrorism, which led to the loss of many lives, to be commemorated.” They also protested against a plaque that claims that people died because the British ignored warning calls, saying it was untrue and “did not absolve those who planted the bomb.” The plaque read “For reasons known only to the British, the hotel was not evacuated.†To prevent a diplomatic incident, and over the objections of Reuven Rivlin of the Likud Party, who raised the matter in the Knesset, changes were made in the text, though to a greater degree in the English than the Hebrew version. The final English version says, “Warning phone calls has [sic] been made to the hotel, The Palestine Post and the French Consulate, urging the hotel’s occupants to leave immediately. The hotel was not evacuated and after 25 minutes the bombs exploded. To the Irgun’s regret, 92 persons were killed.” The death toll given includes Avraham Abramovitz, the Irgun member who was shot during the attack and died later from his wounds, but only the Hebrew version of the sign makes that clear”
Obvious Guy SaysJanuary 8th, 2009 at 10:32 pm
What I’m sick of hearing is, “Hamas has sworn to destroy Israel”, and that’s used to justify the actions of the Israelis in everything they do. Stating something and following through with it are two different things.
Seriously – what we’ve seen this week is that Hamas for all their bluster will never be able to destroy Israel. They haven’t even begun to blunt a small part of the Israeli army pulverizing their territory, they haven’t destroyed any tanks or armored vehicles, shot down no airplanes and certainly are not about to unleash massive columns of their own into Israeli territory. Even if every Gazan was armed with a weapon they couldn’t defeat the Israeli army, yet we are to believe the Israeli talking heads and their warmonger supporters in North America that Hamas is going to destroy Israel if Israel doesn’t go on an unchecked rampage first.
There is the daily Israeli spin on the media airwaves then there is reality.

Jesus fucking Christ, the tinfoil hat brigade is out again. Yes, an American Airlines plane hit the Pentagon. Literally dozens of eyewitnesses saw it and plane parts were indeed found inside and outside the Pentagon.
And btw, what happened to the missing American Airlines plane, you conspiracy retards? Vanish into the Bermuda Triangle?

Like with any discussion, an argument doesn’t end after one “debunking”. There’s debunking of that debunking too.
There are still tons of unanswered questions and the ultimate motive for 9/11 lay in the hands of the neocons plus the military industrial complex.
justaguyJanuary 9th, 2009 at 3:54 am
Where are all these “literally dozens” of witnesses that saw it hit?
I hear/read that exact string of words all over the place but I’ve never seen one of these witnesses produced.
Where is the plane? Who knows? But its absence doesn’t exactly prove much at all does it?

There is no point in arguing with people like Tim R. They have so little respect for the gentile position on Israeli fascism and gentiles themselves; indeed, the truly pathetic and easily disproved propaganda they attempt to dole out, expecting normal people to believe it demonstrates clearly the utter disdain in which zionists view the civilized world.
Justice will come in the form of watching Israel slowly die from within – it’s immoral policies have already trickled down into Israeli society, rife with organized crime, human trafficking and widespread drug abuse etc.
The Israelis lost this war in 1948, when after WW2 and being saved from nazism, they drove the first group of Palestinians from their homes and land….
