  1. What is facinating is at the end when Peterson asks if Ahmadinejad is a "madman". Stone's response is to so no, not really but, he goes on to talk about Iran's political structure and basically describes what the United States SHOULD have under the Constitution, a parliment, executive and the Mullahs that act like a Supreme Court. What's really striking is when he says the president of Iran doesn't have the power that the president of the United States has.

  2. Yaa, whenever i discuss Iran with others, I always hear how the Mullas run the country……….. But when I tell them the Supreme Court are our Mullahs, they just don't seem to get it….. People are SOOO brainwashed here, there…..everywhere…. "WE are the Greatest….. HooRaj… HooRah…"

  5. This video brightened my day considerably, Sean Stone is absolutely correct about the political structure of Iran.Incidentally the Iranian film industry itself has a rich and very artistic history, the work of Abbas Kiarostami for example is particularly notable.

(p.s the article here mentions his trip to /iraq/, just a typo)

  6. If anything needs to be sanctioned (or even bombed), it must be Israel, for Israel has illegal settlements, nuclear weapons, >500.000 illegal settlers, and a unilateral declaration of its eternal capital in Jerusalem, while Iran only wants the entire middle east free from nuclear weapon.

    ~~

Iranian Foreign Minister said that the majority of Middle East states, including Iran and Egypt, want to establish a nuclear weapon-free zone, but that Israel was the “only obstacle to the creation of such a zone.” Israel has hundreds of nuclear warheads, but has not officially admitted to it
