Putin Confirms Zombie Creating Superweapon ‘Real’

Unveiled over the weekend and dismissed as an April Fool’s Day joke, Russia’s announcement of a zombie-creating “superweapon” is all too real, insists Premier Vladimir Putin. The zombification ray is being developed by scientists as a more “politically acceptable” alternative to nuclear weapons, as well as a nifty new form of crowd control.

While we’ve probably got your attention by now, it is at this point we need to discuss the semantics of the matter, and what we mean by “zombie.” The gun is not, naturally, creating Romero-style zombies, which would be worse than useless as a form of crowd control. Instead, it is aiming for the ability to enthrall the living (along the lines of the Bela Lugosi-era Dracula). In short, it is not undead related, but a mind control ray.

Still, great fodder for a dystopian novel, but is it real? The details on how the weapon putatively works are light, but they are referred to as “directed energy” weapons, something the US has already begun rolling out. The leap from shining a hot (not necessarily visible spectrum) light on someone’s arm until they go “oww” to full-fledged mind control appears to be a long one indeed.

But not, necessarily, an unimagined one. The Air Force has been angling for mind control (or at least dumbening) weapons for years now. Russia has been working on it too, naturally.

The claim that they have (or are close to having) broken the barrier to full scale mind control by way of electromagnetic waves could well be a massive bluff. The story, however, has a mind of its own, and that will be even harder to control, and the term “zombie creating superweapon” alone is likely to make the story more pernicious than any movie zombie plague.

  1. This whole story is a hoax, a media created sensation. There are no 'zombie' weapons in Russia and Putin confirmed no such thing. Please don't reprint anti-Putin propaganda as facts.

    There is already a time-tested, repetitively proven and highly effective way to turn politicians and IQ of minus 50 White Christian-Zionist types into zombies.

    I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously—at least I hope not!

    Since Putin won the election and has been making mince meat of his US-backed opposition, the stories about him are becoming more comical:

    -There was a story a few days ago claiming that Putin had locked his wife away in a nunnery – instead of the more mundane explanation of back problems. The speculation about Putin’s wife says more about the trivial nature of the western media than it does about Russia. Anyone with any knowledge of recent Russian history knows that it is not the Russian tradition to give the husbands and wives of political leaders prominence, but somehow this story is spun to make Putin look like an oppressive husband.

    I can't wait to see what'll be dreamt up next………

  10. I am afraid it is all too real. they ( the gubment) are currently experimenting with two types of energy guns

    1) A concentrated microwave device could be used pacify people by making them sick (similar concept as your home microwave). I am not sure what the health effects would be to the targets. Probably organ damage and or cancer as the microwaves essentially cook your organs..could be used as a form of crowd control or close quarter combat in civilian populated areas to limit collateral damage

    2) focused ultrasonic energy waves – these have the effect of causing confusion, illness and perhaps fainting. effects are similar to those one gets from a concussion. to weaponize such a device, it is entire possible that it would be useless as a non-lethal device as the power needed to make it effective would probably result in major brain and tissue damage as its purpose would basically be to destroy blood vessels in the targets head

  13. God, I think they have already used it in the USA. Look at all the evangelical death cult, the republican political front line (excluding Ron Paul).

    1. Yep, really so much of our modern politics is a death cult. The Republican party is not a suicide pact … well really … it mostly is. And many of the Dems are the same.

  14. In the United Kingdom, zombification is clearly fairly advanced. There are two notorious recent cases when rescue teams were so paralysed that they let victims die in circumstance where they could easily have been rescued. It is unlikely that comparable cases have ever occurred before. Street demonstrations of any size can only occur in the UK with the organizational capabilities of the Special Branch and MI5. (Lord James has admitted in the House of Lords that Irish terrorists received massive support from the British state. He himself managed the terrorist accounts at the Bank of England.) The recent London riots were caused by the police themselves and MI5 provocateurs. Things have changed a great deal from the 19th century when the London mob was a spontaneous force to be reckoned with. Modern mass brainwashing works very well.

  18. Hell the U.S. military must be using this type of weapon on their own members now. Military morale started falling with the no-win wars of Korea and Viet Nam. How they get our forces to keep fighting in no-win situations in the middle east is amazing. We need a return to conscription and then maybe there would be enough yelling to stop war that someone would hear. Those of us in the military 40 – 50 years ago would consider todays military a dangerous place to live. The standards for enlistment have been lowered several times and now include MANY criminal types. No, they don't use ray guns on their own forces, they just close their eyes to drugs, prescription and illegal.

  19. Traditional light guns cannot be used on the newer LCD and plasma screens, and have problems with projection screens.

    There are also light guns for Sega Saturn, Xbox and several other console and arcade systems. Recent light gun video games include Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Time Crisis 4, Virtua Cop 3, and The House of the Dead: Overkill.
