  2. As WikiLeaks showed, Yemen's willful stooge and dictator extraordinaire, Saleh, was quickly, willfully and joyfully taking responsibility for the deaths resulting from US drone strikes and lining his pockets in the process. During the year long protests and demonstrations against him, not only did the US provide the weapons to the regime to kill their own people with but they continued to drone them by the scores. When the people of Yemen finally got closed and nearly killed the bastard, the US was quick to take him in and give him safe harbor in the lap of luxury at the penthouse of the Waldorf Hotel in NYC while getting the best medical treatment that American taxpayers' money can pay for. The good people of Yemen are more than justify in their anger and animosity against the US. Oh, yes, and let's not forget how the US has plunged Yemen into one of the worst humanitarian crisis of all time with 40 million innocents on the verge of starvation. But Amerikans can't understand why they're hated.
