Kerry Chosen for Secretary of State

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:

“President Barack Obama has chosen Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts to be the next secretary of state, a source has told Sun-Times columnist Michael Sneed.His replacement as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will be Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey, the Sneed source said.”

 In other Secretary of State news, Hillary Clinton has reportedly fainted and suffered a concussion: she is currently at home recovering.

  1. Senator Kerry is perfectly suited for the post. The preeminent qualification for the position is the lack of principles and integrity. He was passed over for the position a mere 2 weeks ago. Now that the Prsident's favourite for the post was barred by the Congress, Senator Kerry accepts the offer. He married a widow for the money, and now accepts the position for prestige, disregarding the cost to his reputation. As it was said of another upstart: He has money but not enough, he has ambition but no standing!

    1. He's got an alibi. He ran out of military decorations to throw away. So , he'll do the right thing and toe the line.

    McClaren’s propaganda acts as a weak facade for his performance at the club so far. There were relevant doubts after he mangled Derby’s promotion campaign last season, and very few of those questions have been answered in the affirmative. After a significant summer spend, the new manager is already under huge pressure.
