The Anniversary of Eisenhower’s Prophetic Warning

Today is the 52nd anniversary of what is perhaps the most important and prophetic farewell address of any US president. Eisenhower’s warning of the unwarranted influence of the military-industrial complex in the councils of government was sound advice, although sadly ignored.
