  1. John,

    There's nothing below the headline.

  2. If the same obvious propaganda is going to be put up on the website day after day, why not at least have the decency to allow people to respond to it?

    Anyway…in reference to Ditz's new 'piece' entitled: "Six Mediators Killed by Pro-Govt Militia in Homs" , which can be found here;

    http://news.antiwar.com/2013/07/16/six-mediators-

    I was wondering a few things…

So the claim now is that this "Pro-Government Militia" killed government so-called "mediators"–who just so happened to allegedly be "Sunnis"…in an Alawite Village which must have been very hostile to outsiders/strangers for this kind of thing to happen? Hmmm….

Is the government now trying to "mediate" disputes between terrorist groups, or is it simply acting as arbiter and negotiator at the same time?

Has it even been established who exactly killed these people in the first place–or, at least, who is specifically "suspected" of killing these people? Names? How is it known they are "pro-government" and/or "pro-Assad" if their actual identities are unknown?

All I saw on the Rebel mouthpiece (known as the so-called "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights") facebook page was a video by a guy filming a row half unzipped black body bags on the floor of a dark room with one hand, while shining a flashlight on the faces of the dead corpses with the other. The bodies seem to show signs of torture/beatings btw (strange after abruptly being 'gunned down').. In addition to the one guy filming, there seem to be others in the background taking pictures; however, exactly how many and who is impossible to say, as the identity of anyone actually breathing was never revealed.

Are we to believe the same alleged "Pro-Assad Gang" blamed for killing these men are the same people who created this offensive and disgusting video and forwarded it onto the rebel mouth piece 'Observatory' to post on Youtube and Facebook? Or are the guys filming the dead bodies on the floor of a dark room for the so-called "Observatory" different people altogether?

    Video btw:

  3. Its a video. I had to select the desktop version in my phone. Ah well, Antiwar's mobile site is usually top notch.

  4. I am very optimistic that this Syrian war will soon come to an end. The authorities should make an amicable agreement to those who are involved on this matter.

  5. They don’t demand a response so your ex can respond if they want, but they won’t really feel
    pressured to do so.

  13. Ben,
the S O H R is in fact a British government site, it is not independent at all.

  14. This is unbelievable. It is surreal. The two representatives are completely unaware of the American involvement in the situation, even though introducing a bill to prevent American open intervention.

But they are supposed to be members of Congress.

They continuously go on about a civil war, Syrians sorting out their own problems, Sunni-Shia conflict, a situation entirely caused by Syrians – in which they shouldn't intervene.

They fail to realise it is a Covert Operation planned for many years on which a fortune was spent and the policy-makers of Washington are responsible.

  27. Lind had only one legal duty as judge in this case: To dismiss all charges due to the government’s failure to meet the “speedy trial” deadline. If the United States was, as John Adams put it, “a government of laws, not of men,” that’s exactly what she would have done.

  28. I enjoyed this post very much, such a out standing post. Marketing is a complex thing and there is no proper formula but constant engagement and efforts are the key of success Thanks
