Warriors

Regarding "J.C. Penney Catalog: Toy Soldier Commandeers Barbie's Dream House":

...I think the JC Penney "toy" house is an obscenity. No wonder this so-called culture's definition of "being a man" is mostly taken to mean being a dysfunctional man. Real men don't use automatic weapons dress alike, and terrorize unarmed civilians.

This is not being a "warrior." A true warrior only uses his power against an equal or more powerful opponent to protect not terrorize.

Human Beings

Regarding "Israel Elections. So What." by Ran HaCohen:

When do you think the Arabs will realize that murdering pizza-eaters, dance-club people, school kids and sleeping five-year-olds is barbaric.

It is becoming increasingly obvious, that the followers of Muhammed are not human beings.

The father of the homicide bomber that slaughtered 11 Israeli women and children today boasted how his son murdered Israeli children. He said it was a great moment for Ramadan. ...

Last year, a Palestinian homicide bomber went to an Israeli disco and massacred 21 Israeli teenage girls. A German film crew then interviewed the father of the homicide bomber, who said how jealous he was of his son's actions. The father said, he wished he could have killed those Israeli teenage girls. ...

~ Jen Wilson

Ran HaCohen replies:

'Followers of Muhammed are not human beings'? You are a dirty racist. People like you murdered my entire family in the Holocaust. Don't you ever dare to approach me again, on any subject, at any time, under any circumstances. I do not communicate with Nazis.

Thank You, Senator

Regarding "An Irresponsible Exercise in Political Chicanery" by Sen. Robert C. Byrd (D-WV):

Senator Byrd, in these, his final words to the Senate, before the fatal vote that will surely result in total chaos ... will go down in history, if there is one, as the one lone hero who tried to warn of the inglorious "Fall of the Late Great Imperial United States." Like the Fall of Pompeii, the American people will be remembered as the jaded, greedy, fat and lazy people they are. How fitting.

Thank you, Senator Byrd. You did a noble deed.

~ Janice C. Kelly, Georgia

Senator Made Sense

Regarding "An Irresponsible Exercise in Political Chicanery" by Sen. Robert C. Byrd (D-WV):

Senator, you did good. You didn't win the vote, but you made sense to some of us, the 75% of the people that did not vote Republican. Keep on truckin'.

~ Bill Berka

No Claim to Virtue

Regarding "An Irresponsible Exercise in Political Chicanery" by Sen. Robert C. Byrd (D-WV):

This old gasbag has nearly paved his state over with political pork. He has no claim to virtue. He has no ideas to help our future. Why give him space?

~ J. Dixon

Empires

Regarding "Making the Balkans Connection" by Nebojsa Malic:

When the US dropped their two atomic bombs on civilian targets, gave away half of Germany to Poland and Russia and have the lands 100% cleansed of all German by Poland and Russia, they set the stage for "The New World Order". If these where the rules, then Serbia did nothing different in Kosovo than the USA and their friends did in Germany or Israel does with the Palestinians.

I have lived for many years in Canada, but my motherland is Switzerland. The Swiss had a long, hard road from 1291 until 1848, when they finally wrote their constitution. Small Switzerland fought the Habsburg Empire and won. No Empire has lasted for ever and neither will the USA. Yes, there are a lot of people that hate the USA (and us in the West), but war and occupation makes more enemies.... With technology advancing, it is not difficult to imagine that someone will find a WMD that is easy to produce and deliver by any nation, even a small nation – then what?! It may be Nuclear, Biological, Energy Rays, etc. America never lost any sleep over killing people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and neither will their enemy for killing millions of Americans, including us. It's just a statistic, like it was for Hitler, Stalin in their days. Israel never shows any remorse nor do the radical Palestinians. The only thing I'm glad about is that we do not have any children or grandchildren to worry about and that I'm nearly seventy years old and have only a few years left to worry about. Many people say: "I worry about our grandchildren!" Even a total idiot can see where the world is heading, yet it never stops people from building Empires, may they be 'good' or 'evil'.

The Real News

I was introduced to your site by a friend and I'm glad to have been reading a lot recently. My family were refugees twice over the last thirty years and I would not wish on my worst enemy the hell we had to go through and still suffer mentally, financially and in many other ways to this day.

Thank you: it's a relief to see someone standing up and saying what needs to be really said about those of us that are totally against unjust wars and conflicts. No one suffers more than the common children and peoples of the world, whether it's the poor beautiful children of Israel getting blown up by crazed homicidal Palestinian religious extremists taking revenge or the U.S. going to war and killing innocent Iraqi children in the name of taming a rich and stupid tyrant. It's the children, man; they are getting blown up, goddamn it! Let's stop with the hatred and bloodshed and let's look at causes, not just react to actions! ...

Keep up the good work in informing us of the real news of the world, not the damn adulterated news of the mainstream worldwide media knuckleheads and chickenhawks, who deserted war when they were young....
