An anonymous poster asked how it is possible from to co-author a book with a woman who died when I was 20. The answer is that Mrs. Lane's heir, the late Roger MacBride, gave me permission to turn Miss Lane's chapter on Islam from her book "The Discovery of Freedom" into a book by writing a running commentary that corrected her errors and provided scriptural and historical citations to prove her thesis. The book is _Islam and the Discovery of Freedom_ and you can find more information at the Minaret of Freedom Institute's website: http://www.minaret.org/IDF.HTM

Good interview. I don't understand how some will attack and dismiss another point of view. It is completely understandable to disagree with another point of view, but to utterly dismiss it is not in any ones interest. The more we can understand where others points of view are rooted, the sooner we can understand why we face the issues in this world to day and the solutions that can be found. This is true on either side of the coin - no matter what group of people is being intolerant of another views. While we don't have to disagree, if we can take the time to attempt to understand anthers view points, in a rational human way, the opposing group may be inclined to understand the others views as well.

Scott, you gave a dismissive reply when the guest explained that a certain figure
in Islam changed from pro-American to anti as a reaction to the occupation of Palestine in 1948 by Israel, with the blessing and assistance of the USA.
This is in fact the main problem we have with the Muslim and Arab countries, and until we decide to cut off all assistance to Israel, we will continue to have problems.
I don't know what you meant when you said at the end that you were being sarcastic. I just got the feeling that you were afraid to discuss the issue. I sympathize with you, unless you also are one of those that think our support of Israel is justified and necessary.

Dr. something or other has talked about how something or other launch on warning, so..blah, blah, etc.

Oh, wait. I'm not that guy from every other thread.

Anyway, about the mention of Ibben Caldune (sp?) that sounds like a lot of what Richard Maybury used to write which is what got me into libertarianism.

>How has this guy co-authored a book with Rose Wilder Lane? Lane died in 1968!

Obviously he took it and probably showed how it applies across the board. Interesting concept.

As for nobody giving the raging Muslims of Europe no mind, I'm not sure. Nonetheless, their rage is probably driven not so much by their being Muslim, as much as their being ghettoized welfare degenerates who've been encouraged to be such by the state.

Payback's a bitch.

My fault. I didn't ask. My answer is, who cares? No one would be paying them any mind, so it wouldn't matter.
