  1. My uncle, a West Point grad and prisoner of war in Germany, polled his surviving class mates from the Academy in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq. His results: not a single class mate was in favor of invading Iraq. There were plenty of experienced military men opposed to Bush’s war of choice.

  2. Unfortunately for us, the only former military people who speak up on anything have the IQ’s of houseplants.
