I have no hope for this Republic except this: that the Generals in the u.S. Military who ( according to Sen. Bob Dole’s chief advisor know that 9-11 was an inside job ) will gather the courage to organize a coup-which given the circumstances would be lawful-and install someone decent ( I said Patrick J. Buchanan ) as President for life..

Get rid of the left vs right paradigm all together. It doesn’t matter if it is the Republican way of imperialism which prints new money for its war or the Leftist way of raising taxes and going to war. Both major parties are pro-big government parties.

Economic policy
Social policy
Foreign policy

Libertarians win on all fronts. Liberals are better on social policy than Republicans but not better than libertarians. Conservatives the few left are better on Economic and Foreign issues than Liberals but still not as good as libertarians.

But what we have today are Neocons and they are the worst of both parties the big government of the left and the backwards religious idiocy of the right on social issues.

Libertarians should call themselves the Anti-Neocons and then scoop up anti-war people from all other parties. No one likes Neocons no thinking person.

Scott, let me tell you, I went to last year’s conference, and it was the best event I attended. Met so many great people, kept up friendships, and going again this. Hope to meet you, and get a photo with you.
Also, when Jacob spoke about the food, it was awesome. This will be a great event.
