I hope you saw the story tonite on CBS. Here is the link.
http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4890716n

Jonathan Turley, has done a series of articles about repealing Feres. Perhaps a letter campaign to him would help as I know he is very busy.

My son died from U S Army Negligence. The Army can not be sued because of the Feres Doctrine. There are many stores like my sons but the Army keeps it quiet. If anyone wants to read the accident report please contact me at Efremer@aol.com
I will email it to any interested people. If there are any lawyers ready to fight the Feres Doctrine please also contact me. The Army needs to be accountable.

Thanks,

Ed Fremer

Honorable men insist on accountability. They also take responsibility for those under their command. Honest men demand getting to the bottom of the facts in order to correct errors and prevent their recurrance; and to make amends to those who were harmed. This government and this military both act in the most cowardly way possible, refusing to take personal responsibility and being unaccountable for their own actions. They force those at the bottom of the totem pole to take severe punishment that deserves to come only to those at the top. They have established a solid record of lying about and covering up their actions which makes it clear what they're doing is wrong. They are neither honorable or honest and they set the most shameful example of leadership on record. These are our role models. It is absolutely shameful and disgusting.

The Armed Forces -- the only highly dangerous industrial and sports enterprise working with no accountability (just google the Groom Lake Hazardous Waste Lawsuit). This is not restricted to the U.S. of course.

Something to do with the macho can do / must do attitude, I gather.
