Doug has since broken off our friendship. Due to Political differences. I'm sorry about that. But in politics, one must be very thick skinned. Stay well Doug. The Best to You. Grapes.

Thanks for this interview with Douglas Valentine. He is, I feel, an under-appreciated investigator/writer.

This is a great interview, and it further demonstrates to me how this show is an invaluable source of information on topics that interest me.

I'll tell you though, I wish these 9/11-truthers could express their opinion without insulting everyone who disagrees. Come on...

Re 911 etc. I've been commenting on this periodically, but I just have to say it again, this is really getting comical now. For example the way that Scott Horton frantically jumped from Valentine's excellent discussion of massive CIA false flag ops post 911 all the way back to the 1980s as if nothing whatsoever had occurred in the intervening years. Not a mention of the unmentionable, of course.

I guess the price of "respectability" these days is to turn yourself into a complete joke with anyone with an ounce of integrity and an IQ over 25.

Doug is a great guy. I know. I am retired DEA Agent. But I don't recall CIA walking around our office. In fact if a new agent arrived from out of New York. Until it was proven he was not spying on New York. He would not be spoken too. Stay well. Doug. Grapes

Obama said that Iran should be barred from importing gasoline. That´s a Declaration of War, the same as HR 362 and SR 580 which were shelved for now.
The depression that follows will bring us back to 1932. There´s still NO EVIDENCE that Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons program.

Valentine talks about how the CIA gave local warlords in Vietnam a "huge percentage of the heroin business" as part of the cost of doing business, as the means of giving locals the incentive to fight and spy against their own people.

In regards to this type of practice, it is interesting to note that since the invasion of Afghanistan the crop yields of Opium Poppies have set records every year since the Americans overthrew the Taliban; so it would appear the same policies are being pursued in Afghanistan.

Recently the Opium farmers in Afghanistan have begun to set aside, store, large quantities of the Heroin precursors. Is this new policy meant as a type of price support? Is it symptomatic of American and NATO losing the lost ground war in Afghanistan to the resurgent Taliban?

Lastly, I can't help but laugh when I hear Valentine maintain, rightly so, that false-flag, black ops, are used quite often by the CIA and the British MI6 as a means of generating fear as the mechanism for population control; a means for setting off conflagerations between groups (Sunni versus Muslim, Christian versus Catholic, etc...); a means for enabling an occupying force to use these acts as a means, a pretext, for reducing suspect villages to rubble; and lastly as a means of implementing the neoliberal, Washington consensus agenda by force; and then to hear Horton hesitantly agree with Valentines accurate assessment, yet taking pains not to go down the path, the Freeway in my mind, of logical conclusion that the United States and Britain (while carefully not mentioning Israel) have possibly used domestic terrorist attacks within their own and other countries (911 and 7/7) as the means for pursuing their foreign and domestic policy agendas. The evidence out there to substantiate these claims is mountainous, but you will never seen Horton or his mentor Raimundo ever investitage the 911 or 7/7 lynchpin strategies.
