President Obama said that Iran should be barred from importing gasoline. That´s a Declaration of War, the same as HR 362 and SR 580 which were shelved for now. There´s ZERO evidence that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons.

I never bought into any of this “Change”crap. Without substantial statements all that Obama did was pander to a lovestruck audience. When will the day come when a third party candidate win the presidency? What kind of democracy works as a function of power changing hands between two teams that differ merely on the details of its usage every few years?
Rahm Emmanuel’s appointment at least leave no more room for”hope” that this “change” is anything but perfunctory, most importantly in the foreign policy sphere.

I look forward to watching the democracts destroy themselves ( and probably finish off the country) just as the republicans have destroyed themselves.

I can claim total innocence for everthing about to be done all over again to the US.
I didn’t vote for Obama.

Why?.. did I not after supporting Obama all year?

I got a look at his appointees under consideration over at the Politico site the night before voting. Harman, the JINSA guy Bratton, Rham…..ad nausum.

And my head exploded. If Obama had been in the room I think I would have beat him to a bloody pulp.

I did a write in for Ralph Nader, I don’t know why, I have never voted for him before. Call it a protest. Now I am going back to wearing my ‘Burn Washington To the Ground and Start Over’ t- shirt.

Cause that is what it is going to take to ever get any CHANGE.

Rahm Emmanuel’s appointment is troublesome. He’s a Zionist 1st. Perhaps Obama wanted him out of the house. Rahm and Obama’s campaign strategies differ, with Obama being a 50 state strategist with Howard Dean while Emmanuel was an 18 state strategist, a strategy which was only successful in the two Clinton elections and which never got even 50% of the vote. It was Howard Dean’s 50 state strategy in 2006 that resulted in the Democratic Party’s success then although in true Zionist fashion Emmanuel took credit for it. I voted for Bob Barr as a protest to both parties. I vote in Georgia so it didn’t matter, McCain was going to take the state. I voted Democratic otherwise. According to Greg Palast and Robert Kennedy Jr. 50,000 voter were scrubbed from the voting roles and still it wasn’t enough to guarantee victoryfor the Republican incumbent Senator Saxby who was forced into a runoff. I was wondering why Saxby was so Bushlike smug and condescending after the election and before the runoff was announced and IT HAD TO BE THAT HE KNEW VOTERS[MOSTLY DEMOCRATS] HAD BEEN SCRUBBED and it wasn’t enough. Saxby acted just like Bush had in 2000 when he knew his brother Jeb had engineered the scrubbing of some 93,000 voters and didn’t count another 170,00 votes there in 2000.

Another nice interview, Scott. Rather recent listener, and I like your show. I have listened to all the 2008 archives and hope to be a small, but continuing supporter.

One of the benefits to us readers (and to your guests), is that getting to know these folks you interview really affects our reading habits. Running across a Porter, Greenwald, Rockwell by-line in other publications almost demands a reading. I already have a couple of books by your guests.

When it comes to Saint President-elect Obama and civil liberties, he’s going to have to prove it to me. Remember, Obama voted for the recent FISA bill that gave the telecoms immunity from suit, and that expanded warrantless surveillance.

Rahm Emanuel? He’s a Zionist, dual-citizenship, everything-for-Israel warmonger. In fact, I’ll go so far as to say that he’ll be Israel’s “mole” in the White House! (FBI, you’ve been warned.)

Still don’t know why you make such a fuss about Sarah Palin. After all, her apparent ignorance is what most of us abroad have come to expect of Americans, including those in high positions. I remember in 1976 that Gerald Ford in a debate showed a similar level of ignorance about the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe that clearly amazed his questioner and he had already been the PRESIDENT for TWO YEARS!
