Second, the crew of “volunteers” will undoubtedly require a massive bureaucracy to manage it, populated by high priced paper-pushers and assorted Obama parasites and hangers-on. Who pays for their salaries and benefits, and how is this revenue generated? Confiscating people’s property to pay for feel-good programs, no matter how well intended, is still immoral.

Oh, and by the way, the “infrastructure” doesn’t fall from the skies like manna. That has to be paid for too. Where does this money come from?

As for unemployment, I don’t know how this make-work program differs in the slightest from the absurd New Deal failures of the 1930s. Taking desperately needed capital from the private sector during an economic correction is a really stupid idea, which pretty much explains why they’ll try it.
