Muslim countries will not generally be able to establish any stable civil government because their religion rules out any concept of natural law. Whatever is accomplished in places like Iraq or Afghanistan will unravel very quickly after US forces leave. Unfortunately, to all appearances Bush never read a book and Obama seems only to have studied marxist ideology. American foreign policy continues to be implemented by incompetent individuals who have no idea what they are doing. What we need among elected officials is a new spirit of humility, especially as they have so much to be humble about.

I understood that officials representing the Taliban told Bush that if he presented them proof that individuals such as Osama bin Laden were responsible for planes flying into buildings in the USA, he would turn them over to bushy, if they were in Afganistan. Bush refused to present it any such evidence and, yet today, there has been no arrest warrants issued for anyone in Afghanistan, based on any events of 9/11/01.

USA troops entered Afghanistan, without permission of its government, and that is an invasion, whatever the pus congressional resolution read. Shame on Paul and all. He is still pushing the Obama bin Laden fable.f

Roslyn, were we listening to the same interview? Ron Paul does not believe we had the right to invade Afghanistan. He voted for the resolution to go after the "individuals" (the small group of terrorists), not to invade Afghanistan and begin to nation build an entire country.

This is also made abundantly clear among the hours upon hours of other videos and radio interviews with Ron Paul as well as his thousands of pages of writing over the years. He believes in a non-interventionist foreign policy.

Where/how in the world did you get the idea that Ron Paul believes we had the right to invade Afghanistan?

It could have been Paul...

End the wars.
End the Drug wars.
No bailouts.
No Income Tax.
Hemp for fuel.
No Fiat system no Fed.

We could save trillions of dollars and millions of lives.
But the press gave the public the pre-selected shills again. And the people played the lessor of evils gamble again. And now the economy is on the way to ruins.

Nice job Scott playing devil's advocate. It must have been hard to say all those typical complaints with a straight face.

Ron Paul is wrong if he thinks we ever had the right to invade Afgahnistan. Show me the proof. We went in there and killed Arabs in revenge. Congress and Bush are evil, and now, so is Obama.

A Constitution-fearing, law-abiding government at home? An honorable, noninterventionist foreign policy? Dr. Paul believes in these. Let's hope these strange concepts (!) catch on, shall we?

Field Marshall Rommel definitely was not a Nazi. He was even involved with some of the plotters of the assassination attempt on 20 July 1944. He eventually committed suicide because of this.
