  1. I believe the standard response to these kind of data is that “they don’t measure intensity of feeling.” Thus the excuse that prez has to pander to Cuban wingnuts in order to get elected. Obama’s changes, to date, don’t even reverse every new restriction that W instated, if I remember the news accurately.

I hear that the younger Cuban-American wingnuts are changing, but apparently not enough to matter.

Don’t expect much change in U.S. Cuban policy in my lifetime (another 15 years or so).

  2. According to former Trident missile engineer Bob Aldridge-www.plrc.org-the Pentagon aims to achieve a disarming and unanswerable first-strike capability. According to Bob Aldridge the US Navy can track and destroy all enemy submarines simultaneously. Please see the article by Keir Lieber and Daryl Press, “The Rise of US Nuclear Primacy” in the 2006 March/April issue of Foreign Affairs. Minuteman-3s and Trident-2 D5s linked to NAVSTAR obtain a CEP of 30-40 metres, enough to destroy any hard target. A First-Strike Capability won´t be complete without the missiles in Poland to shoot down any surviving Russian missiles. Even if it´s only for blackmail, the Russians may have no choice but implementing Launch On Warning.

  3. The issue is not whether people should go to Cuba….however wants to go to that crap hole…..so be it……The REAL issue is whether it’s okay to use stolen money and give it to the mass murderers known as the Castro brothers…are you ready to work that extra overtime to pay for the war, the Fed, the debt, the myriad of government programs and now CUBA?

  4. Hey Moe, unlike the way that Reagan supported that murdering crook, Saddam Hussein? /s

  5. Moe: maybe you should GO THERE before spouting your ignorant crap.

Castro brothers are not “mass murderers”, they LIBERATED Cuba from the Mass Murderers, i.e US go9vernment, corporations, and Mafia.

Being an American i suppose you don’t read much history…precisely why the USA WILL be history in short order.
