Scott Horton Interviews Jeff Stein
Scott Horton,
April 21, 2009
Jeff Stein, Spy Talk columnist for Congressional Quarterly, discusses his breaking news story about the alleged NSA wiretap recording of Rep. Jane Harmon agreeing to intervene on behalf of two AIPAC employees accused of espionage in exchange for help getting appointed chair of the House Intelligence Committee and why then-Attorney General Gonzales intervened to close the case before it could really begin.

If true, wouldn’t Harman be guilty of obstruction of justice? At a minimum?
Not to mention treason, and all those other crimes neatly encapsulated in that one wiretap.
BTW, I thought you WERE the other Scott Horton. Political doppelgangers? Thanks for the clarification.

Congrats to the ever vigilant Scott Horton and to Jeff Stein for this important story.
I hate to say this, but Congresswoman Jane Harmon appears to be a woman of questionable character, even aside from the AIPAC issue.
For example: Rep. Harmon was an alleged supporter of the Armenian genocide resolution in Congress, while quietly working behind the scenes to try to quash it without telling anyone.

Check this out! Larry Franklin is not in prison.
http://blogs.jta.org/politics/article/2009/04/22/1004577/maybe-jane-harman-slipped-larry-franklin-a-file-in-a-cappucino
Franklin was sentenced to just over 12.5 years, it is true – and that was by all accounts not a lenient sentence – but his time was deferred until after he testifies at the Rosen and Weissman trial. I heard from sources at the time that prosecutors would recommend a reduction to three years should he cooperate, and that Judge T.S. Ellis was likely to take the deal.

Scott, you just totally rock. Between this interview and the two prior ones, you’ve pretty much established yourself (in my opinion) as being in a league all your own and above all others. Keep up the great work.

Representative Jane Harman (D-CA) is an Israel Lobby-controlled scumbag. Not that there’s anything unusual about that, mind you. Virtually the entire “Parliament of Whores” is under AIPAC’s thumb, with one exception: Representative Ron Paul (R-TX).
And what about the on-again, off-again AIPAC spy case? Will Israeli spies AGAIN go unpunished?

Few Americans seem to realize that any group that succeeded so well in this country could have their primary love and loyalty not to this country (which enabled them to attain such success) but to another. But this has happened due to the corruptness of our national government and mainstream news media which has succumbed to the power of AIPAC. WE know what our leaders thought of the puppets we implanted in the so-called ‘Banana Republics” so we can well imagine what the average Israeli citizen thinks of the “Useful idiots” they control in our congress.

“Thanks for calling me.”
I don’t get it. What makes a news story “gigantic,” like Scott said? I thought this was par for the course on Capitol Hill. This story of Harman, AIPAC, espionage, enemies domestic and abroad, etc., etc, reveals the Justice Department as politically tainted. The best we could hope for is the gradual withering away of the District of Columbia. Anyways, keep up the good work, Scott.

Jane Harman and other Democrats as well as Republicans need to resign immediately for their crimes against the peace and war crimes, and if proven true under the law and courts, ought to be prosecuted for their willful crimes against the U.S. Constitution and the American people.
Even if they are not brought to justice, these elected leaders who knowingly allowed this to go on need to be punished. Either voted out of office or forced to resign.
Jane Harman is a Traitor….and so are many others in the House and Senate and the Executive as well as the Justice Departments also traitors.
All of these people pissed and crapped on the Constitution they swore to defend and uphold. Just for that these traitors are guilty!!!!
Yes, it is time to call these elected leaders what they are: traitors, criminals, war criminals, rogues, anti-American, anti-U.S. Constitution, more loyal to other countries other than the one they are representing, money whores, etc.

Jane Harman makes me want to vomit too….This woman is evil and needs to resign now!!!!
Harman is more loyal to Israel than to the United States. She should be prosecuted for passing secrets to a foreign government, and being involved in its cover-up. In a nation which actually upholds it laws, Harman would have been indicted already!!!!
Harman belongs locked up in an orange jump suit. The American people should be outraged over Harman’s traitorous actions. This is not some small joke either.
