Philip Giraldi appears to be lamenting the Turkey-Israel strategic partnership and wondering (somewhat naively) as to why Turkey would choose Israel as a strategic partner. Actually, this partnership has been rather effective in promoting Turkish interests. Just remember what was happening in late the 80’s and throughout 90’s. The Turkish state was waging a full-scale war against its Kurdish population (whose very existence the Turkish state denied), and needed all the help in whitewashing its atrocities. In came the likes of AIPAC and ADL and started shilling for the Turks.
So while Clinton, Allbright, and co. waged a war against Serbia — ostensibly for stopping Milosevic’s crimes – they did nothing to stop the carnage committed by the Turks. On the contrary, they cynically aided and abetted the perpetrators. So yah, the Jane Harman episode is just a small vignette of the mosaic.

That’s probably why AIPAC is refusing to register as a foreign agent.Certainly there are more Hamans within the Administration yet to be discovered.Its frightining to realize how high these people can go without being scrutinized, as long as they are recomended by AIPAC.Ms Harman’s predicament should give evidance to true Americans that with Israeli firsters running the show, America’s image in the world would remain in the mud.

Jane Harman is obviously with the “above the law” crowd. It is just horseshit when we hear our Reps say NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
