Odd how talks now center upon the "Leaders" of Iraq and Afghanistan as if thye US was not there.

Too all those who said the US was losing in Iraq, the Empire was failing, Iraq is a conquered country and no more than a US territory to be bled for its eenrgy and strategic positioning in the fututer.

Afghanistan is not quite such an easy project but it is suceeding in as much as the Caspain Sea Energy routes needed at beginning of occupaiton have been completed and are safe from harm.

To be completed Pakistan and parts of Afghanistan must come under full control of NATO interest; yes US led NATO but never the less NATO, in order for the newer lines to be built but they will be built.

Many underestimated and still underestimate the ability of US to carryon such foreign engagements and have not realy kept abreadst of our many ongoing operations in Caspain Sea and African and now our sudden interest in Latin America; not to mention the Phillipine Islands where we have had a few thousand "Advisory Force" members engaged in fighting with their National Troop against insurgents.

US hegonomy is only just beginning, there is all of Africa yet to go, Iran and quite possibly once more upon the Asian underbelly nations.

As we becoeme a more structured nation in social and economic ordr we also seem to be gaiing in the militarization of the popualce as well, so he future of warfare looks like a safe investment for many years to come.
