You did say "self-respecting" right? That sorta leaves Israel out of the equation. Think parasite on the United States. Not "nation". Like a big, fat ,blood-engorged tick . . . Israel . . . sucking the lifeblood from its host (that's us, by the way).

Your assertions are 100% correct. Regardless of what the misinformed might say, the Israelis carried out what was essentially an inside job on 9-11-2001. That is the sad truth.

My dad, an old-fashioned left-wing revolutionary who served in Habash's PFLP, often would tell me as a child, 'the difference between America serving and being ensalved by Israel and thinking on its own, is that the American people need to go hungry for a few days. That'll wake them up'. It seems as if he was correct.

Mr. Lester speaks the truth.

The truth is that the Twin Towers and WTC7 were destroyed in a controlled demolition. The evidence for that is overwhelming, incontrovertible.

It is ridiculous to assert that Al-Quaeda felled both the twin towers and WTC7 in a controlled demolition is ridiculous.

The list of suspects and conspirators is long (Larry Silverstein should be at the top of that list) and mostly has ties to Israel – to the Mossad, and to zionist causes.

I think the backlash, in the US at least, against Israel is rooted somewhat in economics as well.

The US economy is imploding and will continue to do so. As people lose their homes, are unable to feed their famlies, and drown in a sea of debt; the last thing they want to hear is that their tax dollars (collected under the threat of death) are being shipped off to some country half way across the world and that any voice of protest obviously means they are minority hating bigots.

I can't think of any other nation where wanting to cut off their foreign aid to them would create such a response. Over time, as the economy worsens, this attitude will backfire.

Of course, what isn't touched on is that the US government has a stake in keeping the conflict going. Israel, and the Arab nations we bribe not to attack them, are the few reliable remaining customers for US weapons on the international market. That is only because we give them generous aid packages to buy said weapons. The folks at Lockheed and GE do not want the make work program to come to the end.
