There's just something so creepy about Bolton. Even for a neoconservative. From his goofy appearance, to his never-ending calls for war, bombing, violence, etc; – creepy guy. A political sociopath.

First the buildings were built to withstand a hit at maximum velocity from a 707. The maximum speed of the 707 is faster than the 757 and force of impact increases exponentially with speed. Plus the planes didn't even have full tanks of fuel when they hit. I realize it's possible that the structure was weakened enough to collapse and I'm not dismissing that either. But how do you explain the Windsor tower in Madrid that burned for over 24 hours with the steel structure still intact and standing when it burned out? Go look at the videos. Virtually everything is gone except steel frame. No steel frame buildings in history ever collapsed because of fire before or since 911. How do you explain the fact that WTC 5 and 6 were much closer to 1 and 2, and received massive damage from debris and yet their steel structure was still standing as well after the fact. And yet building 7, which no photographs of reveal any debris damage to (and most of the building is visible in those images), collapsed from damage to a few columns as per the NIST report. On top of that there were other buildings that were closer to WTC 1 and 2 that were damaged and none of them collapsed. Only WTC 7, the one that had a the NYC counter-terrorism office, a Secret Service office, a CIA office, an office of Housing and Development, an office of the SEC which had hundreds of files related to the Enron scandal in it. And there are multiple, multiple the eye witness accounts from the rescue workers and clean up crew of many secondary explosions even in WTC 7 and of huge amounts of molten metal in the wreckage. Where did that come from? The fire was never hot enough to liquify steel even if it could weaken it. Go on youtube and type in WTC molten metal. You can find a video of a NYC fireman saying "There was all this molten metal. Molten metal running down these rails. It was like being in a foundry." And then there are the people arrested in a white van near the George Washington Bridge that had traces of explosives and some of whom turned out to be former explosives experts for a foreign nations armed forces. This was after the police received a warning that the Bridge was going to be attacked.

I realize there is a chance that this really was all coincidence and the towers really did collapse the way NIST said. But there are a lot of unanswered questions here. Don't dismiss it out of hand until you go and do a lot of research on the eye witness accounts of secondary explosions etc. etc. etc.

That is not good science. Don't assume the label of science gets you a free pass. Scientist and engineers can incorrectly interpret data or draw wrong or exaggerated claims from them. I assume they also found totally lacking in the structural explanation of the failure? Lets see 100 tons= 200,000lbs=1000 deposits of 200 lbs or 10,000 deposits of 20lbs. Gee that shadowy non-thermite planner has one busy summer, or had a real clever plan.
Two planes were flown into the buildings at full speed. Seems a little STUPID to think we would only be impressed if they collapsed!! So the building had to collapse by covert explosives just to make sure we were paying attention ??
I look at this 100% as an event of history (not the political aspect),and I see intelligent people wasting there time searching for what? A more palatable truth? A truth they agree with ? Maybe you conspiriatorialistas are just being ironic and I just don't frikkin get it. We landed on the moon, it was kinduv of waste of time but hey we did it.

When you heat steel it weakens. When that steel support 20-30 stories of structure above it there is s good chance of collapse. If a 100 tons of structures starts to move, it wants to keep going. What is absurd to me is how these contrived theories, give such credit to their plotters. The fact that some airplanes were flown into some major landmarks at maximum velocity in broad daylight doesn't lead one to believe some sneaky people planted explosives to make another building in the vicinty collapse. This was not an episode of 24. Plotter : "Let hit the white house and the starbucks across the street because a staffer of the Sec. Defense might be there…."

If the conspiracy mongers ever had to explain Hiroshima, they would have to pick anti matter, asteroid or black hole to be happy.

I've always been of the opinion that the WTC buildings were prepped for demolition after the failed 1993 attack. From a damage control standpoint, it makes sense, because the 1993 attackers revealed in their interrogations that the objective was to get the buildings to fall over and start a domino chain reaction of other buildings falling. With the nanothermite in place, unscrupulous people (the WTC had a lot of FedGov agencies as tenants) could use it to create their long sought "new Pearl Harbor" to "galvanize American willpower" against the Muslim "enemy."
