Scott Horton Interviews Glenn Greenwald
Glenn Greenwald, former constitutional lawyer and current Salon.com blogger, discusses the Republican brouhaha about the Islamic non-profit CAIR, the ease of tarnishing reputations with “unindicted co-conspirator” designations, vitriolic anti-Islam bigotry in Congress and the pervasive fear of an Islamic takeover of the U.S.

Glenn Greenwald was a constitutional lawyer in New York City, first at the Manhattan firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, and then at the litigation firm he founded, Greenwald, Christoph. Greenwald litigated numerous high-profile and significant constitutional cases in federal and state courts around the country, including multiple First Amendment challenges. He has a J.D. from New York University School of Law (1994) and a B.A. from George Washington University (1990). In October of 2005, Greenwald started a political and legal blog, Unclaimed Territory, which quickly became one of the most popular and highest-trafficked in the blogosphere.
Upon disclosure by the New York Times in December 2005 of President Bush’s warrantless eavesdropping program, Greenwald became one of the leading and most cited experts on that controversy. In early 2006, he broke a story on his blog regarding the NSA scandal that served as the basis for front-page articles in the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times and other newspapers, all of which credited his blog for the story. Several months later, Sen. Russ Feingold read from one of Greenwald’s posts during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Feingold’s resolution to censure the president for violating FISA. In 2008, Sen. Chris Dodd read from Greenwald’s Salon blog during floor debate over FISA. Greenwald’s blog was also cited as one of the sources for the comprehensive report issued by Rep. John Conyers titled “The Constitution in Crisis.” In 2006, he won the Koufax Award for best new blog.
Greenwald is the author of A Tragic Legacy: How a Good vs. Evil Mentality Destroyed the Bush Presidency, How Would a Patriot Act? Defending American Values from a President Run Amok and Great American Hypocrites: Toppling the Big Myths of Republican Politics.

So is the ADL fighting against this anti-Muslim bigotry since it claims to be "the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency, ADL fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all."
This is a quote from the ADL website.

It was good to hear your side of the story , Yes i imediatly thought of democrats and republican trying to influence our government to promote their sinfull ideas and impose their crazy selfserving beliefs on us . I have heard of shairihs law . I beielive it is the law of the muslim religion . You dont think muslims want to impose their religion on others do you ? what do they reccomend for infidels ? a chance to change your religion or have your heads removed . No matter where you go in the world muslims are blowing things up . Not Christians ,Jews ,or Hindus but muslims . United States has imported muslims , and they are cuasing trouble here too but nobody is allowed to say they are muslims . Its very politically correct to talk like you , and to treat evreybody equally . But it is very stupid these are not civilized people , this is not a civilized religion .They want to go by muslim law . In Kosovo I knew of muslims that protected their christian neihbors , and vica versa but finally the good muslims could not do it any longer . The good muslims would be killed themselves if they didnt get rid of the infidol christians .

Its bigotry if you say Islamics attack the wtc , madrid train or the london subway . dont mention muslim terrorists becuase it is not all muslims . How many Hindus have blown up planes . Christians out number muslims so do christian blowup themseves more than the muslims , not half as often not 1 tenth as often not even 1 hundredth or even 1 thousandsth as often . So muslims suggesting peace have lost all credibility as peaceworkers .

There sure as hell is no anti-Zionist bigotry in Congress–it’s Israeli-occupied territory, after all. The boys in Tel Aviv (or at AIPAC, it’s all the same) pull the puppet strings, and Congress responds. (Remember, Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) is one of the very few who isn’t owned by the Israel Lobby. He puts America’s interests before Israel’s.)
Damn, if only the Muslims had that kind of pull. . . .

There are other forms of terrorism besides suicide bombings you do realize – dropping white phosphorus on civilian populations, for instance, as was done in Fallujah by the U.S. military for resisting occupation and those were hardly muslims doing the terrorizing in that case.

I believe no religion has had more people killed in its name than Christianity.
So, just how was this religion hijacked? How did the Prince of Peace become an icon for rape, pillage, and plunder? How have Christians been duped into supporting total war all the time?
My name is Legion and we are many(and those "chosen people", nice bait, eh).

Unfortunately, we need an Islamic PAC to counteract the Zionist PAC in order to restore some balance to Washington. How did it get to this?

No but Christian and Jewish nation drop bombs on Islamic countries/territories of Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Gaza….they don't need to have blown up planes…they let the bombs dropped fro the planes do the blowing up for them.
