Internationally syndicated columnist Eric Margolis discusses the low quality of traditional media news available to U.S. audiences, how the Afghanistan election runoff is shaping up to be just as fraudulent as the first go-round, U.S. support for mujahedeen between the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan and 9/11, broad realization that even the best laid plans could end in defeat in Afghanistan and allegations that Ahmed Wali Karzai is yet another “made man” CIA asset.

  1. Note to the truthers: I won't be reading any of the comments on this post, so don't bother.

  2. Whatever Scott. Regarding 9/11Truth, it doesn't have to be this or that. There is a middle ground which is that the CIA or the FBI or Israeli intelligence knew what was going to happen and allowed it to happen. Cui bono?

  3. A great interview. I always learn something new when Mr. Margolis speaks.

I did have one objection, and that is when he said that he "respects and honors" the president. Are you kidding me? Obama is personally responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people. The man is a war criminal! How can anyone respect and honor a murderer?

  4. I am glad to hear your reading list Scott, but it needs to be widened. Can I suggest you read David Ray Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor Revisited and then go to the April 2009 issue of the Open Journal of Chemistry and Physics where the "hard evidence" you claim to want is spelled out in scientific detail. Highly technical military only nano-thermite was used to bring WTC 1, 2 and 7 down.
That may not fit with your multiple preconceptions but it is the cold hard truth. Why not invite onto the show one of the scentists involved. They will spell it out for you and Mr Margolis in words of one syllable.
It is difficult to take seriously by the way anyone who advances the proposition that the CIA was just helping out heroin traffikers in south east asia, cocaine dealers in Colombia etc because that was the "local currency". Give me a break. He says he has read McCoy's book. Frankly I doubt it.

  5. my only question is why waste time with the planes. there was a truck bombing at the wtc already. if your just gonna pack them with 100 tonnes of thermite just tell us it was another al queda truck bombing

  6. Great show.

  7. yeah the whole deal, just a long series of co-in-cideinces,amazaingly arriving here,OO,in this neat little space in tyme, right whair the capitolist sindicite needs to be to maintain a balance of VACUM,neatly co-in siding with whair the passion of war pigs hope to be tomorrow,if only pigs could fly ,whats' below insideous,OO yeah I remember,EVIL(anti prime and actually of no commonly held or agreed definition),lets go over it ONE MORE TYME,,,thairs a penalty flag on the Ottoman Nazis marshall field,,,circumstantial evidence, machaveallian treason and manchurian conspiracy, who nomanaites these people and calls it freedom, democracy or the war on war on drugs made of mind control, plastacides and petroleium based depressed sedatives with a shot of de-sensorary depravation and a little, horror and terror thrown in just to make it a little ugly on the mass media side, aauuuggghhh, etc, tyranny, etc, etc,,,

  8. Anyone who doesnt understand that 4,000 gallons of jet fuel and planes at 600 MPH made the towers fail structurally is fooing themselves, retarded or a subversive. Using "Nano thermite" is some kind of comic book joke. Get a grip.

  9. Explain WTC7. Even FEMA and NIST cant fully explain it.

  10. I'd be willing to grant that, but I would not be willing to grant that asymmetrical damage can cause global simultaneous symmetrical collapse. But I'm just studying architecture at Harvard, what do I know?

  11. Let Scott believe what he wants about 9/11. It's a good show anyway. I wish he'd just leave it alone, though.

  12. You can still change to structural engineering at MIT then…

  13. Thank you, I never really thought about that. It seems obvious and very significant. Both buildings as well.

  14. Oly_demon: A group of 9 scientists, one of them Niels Harrit from Uni of Copenhagen, have examined some of the dust from WTC for almost two years and concluded that 10-100 tons of nano-thermite was placed in the buildings. That´s a fact. Science is science.

  15. According to former Trident missile engineer Bob Aldridge-http://www.plrc.org-the Pentagon aims to achieve a disarming and unanswerable first-strike capability. Minuteman-3 and Trident-2 D5 linked to NAVSTAR obtain a CEP of 30-40 metres, enough to destroy any hard target. And according to Bob Aldridge the US Navy can track and destroy all enemy submarines simultaneously. Even if the Pentagon´s First-Strike Capability is only for blackmail, the Russians may have no choice but implementing Launch On Warning. Bob Aldridge resigned because a disarming and unanswerable first-strike capability is suicidal.
I hope you agree that the Pentagon´s aim to achieve Nuclear Supremacy is the most urgent problem because it leads to Launch On Warning.
Don´t they believe in Nuclear Winter in the Pentagon ? Brigadier Harbottle suggested that they didn´t and called them "bloody fools" for that reason.

Oly-demon: A group of 9 scientists, one of them Niels Harrit from the Uni of Copenhagen, have examined some of the dust from WTC for almost two years and concluded that 10-100 tons of nano-thermite was placed in the buildings. He was interviewed on Danish TV 2. The 9 scientists made a research paper on their findings.

  17. The real problem, however, is this:
According to former Trident missile engineer Bob Aldridge-http://www.plrc.org-the Pentagon aims to achieve a disarming and unanswerable first-strike capability. Minuteman-3 and Trident-2 D5 linked to NAVSTAR obtain a CEP of 30-40 metres, enough to destroy any hard target. Bob Aldridge resigned because a disarming and unanswerable first-strike capability is suicidal.
I hope you agree that the Pentagon´s aim to achieve Nuclear Supremacy is the most urgent problem because it leads to a more or less automatic Launch On Warning. Nuclear Winter is the most likely result. The Pentagon´s doctrine of First-Strike Capability is suicidal. Some studies on this subject are: The Counterforce Syndrome and Nuclear Empire by Robert C. Aldridge.

  18. Claus:

I was replying to "A Patriot" who was saying that not believing 4000gal of fuel traveling at 600 mph took down the buildings (including WTC7) makes us retarded or subversive. Meanwhile the FEMA and NIST reports cant even conclude that this theory is solid. I guess my slight sarcasm wasn't clear there.

Ive watched most of the Neils Harrit videos and have even been to a Richard Gage presentation and dont believe the Official fable, so, I guess I'm either a retard or subvert or both (Subvertarded?)

  19. All three…
