The problem is that war party types are the first to threaten to call the cops on my radio station. If I can get this thing going on KPFK, I'd like very much to take them on in front of everyone.

I mean, you're all entitled to your opinions and I respect the work you do at antiwar.com, but is it really too much to ask to maybe interview someone you disagree with?

Horton or whoever pulled my previous post that commented on your assumptions that there is an anit 911 truth bias at AW.com There is... Raimondo's title is "editorial director" and that should tell you all that you need to know. Raimondo burps and Horton salutes. BTW, Raimondo is a pseudonym and that should answer most of your question. Of course 8Ball is also a pseudonym but I do not pretend to know how the world works and how it should be... I only know how to call a spade a spade in my evaluation of the jaw jackers and keyboard tappers that keep telling you that they do.

I agree with Tariq and would add that since 9/11 the United States and Israel have set about strangulating all methods of support for Palestinian and Lebanese resistance to aggressive Israeli expansionism. The no new settlements rhetoric from the US revealed the pecking order in Washington.

Jordan was pacified over half a century ago; Egypt and Saudi Arabia are US and Israeli allies; Lebanon is fractured and regularly destroyed by Israeli aggression; Iraq is destroyed; Iran is next and then possibly Sudan.

Israel has a big stick and it is called the US military.

>>Do you have any large funders who demand such a policy,

That would be cool, I would not have to open my wallet.

"Justin Raimondo gets an ass kicking from readers for tap dancing around 9/11 Truth."

That sounds ridiculous. Justin is orbiting pretty closely to the last stable orbit before the fall into the 9/11 Truthfiles occurs. These readers must not have taken their lithium in a while. This might be due to the fact that good healthcare is scarce in America.

Good points, Tariq. The whole rise of Islamic militance was contrived by the U.S and UK to suppress the left militants in the Muslim world, whom the imperialists considered more dangerous. You don't hear about nationalists like Nasser and Arafat any more. It's all religious extremists, because the nationalists were killed off and the religious groups were supported (e.g. Taliban and Hamas.) People need some way to resist, so they support the Islamists. So now the warmongers turn on the Islamists, a never-ending excuse for war and more war.

It may be worth investigating whether the Talibanisation in Pakistan is an attempt by the vast majority of poor people in Pakistan to overthrow the corrupt fuedal landlords, the army and political elite that has done absolutely nothing for them since the creation of Pakistan. Almost every hospital, school, etc is being built by charitable donations with the government unable and unwilling to provide social security, justice or education to the masses. These power holding groups are only interested in enriching themselves. It is the religious parties that are providing the safet nets with free food, elementary education in Madrassas, and some semblance of social security. Why should the poor not be interested in joining these movements to overthrow their oppressors? Could it be that the so-called war on terror is a convenient excuse to defeat this uprising by using the army and American economic and miltary support?

Scott, I noticed that Justin Raimondo closed the comments section on his 9-11 article. I was directed to his article by a link which read "Justin Raimondo gets an ass kicking from readers for tap dancing around 9/11 Truth."

Is there some kind of an explicit policy on anti-war.com against discussing the evidence of government complicity in 9-11? Do you have any large funders who demand such a policy, or do you maybe fear that established funders will stop giving if you get too 'kooky?' Or is this just a position held by Mr. Raimondo?

I would say I'm sorry because this is off topic, except IT'S NOT, because the justification for being in Pakistan at all is "al-Qaeda," "the base," you know, the CIA database of mujaheddin fighters.

Dr. Ellsberg isn´t right. We haven´t yet reached the point of some automatic Launch On Warning because Obama gave us some time by his decision to deploy the Pentagon´s Second Strike Force at sea (and in the Balkans ?). That will probably be completed in 1 to 3 years time. It´s probably only for blackmail but the Russians may have no choice but implementing Launch On Warning. Minuteman-3 and Trident-2 D5 linked to NAVSTAR obtain a CEP of 30-40 metres, enough to destroy any hard target. And according to former Trident missile engineer Bob Aldridge-www.plrc.org-the US Navy can track and destroy all enemy submarines simultaneously. A First-Strike Capability doesn´t make any sense at all as 100 nuclear explosions are enough for Nuclear Winter. Isn´t that enough ?

Watch the re-enactment of General Butler's speech:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3_EXqJ8f-0

The MO of the USG has not changed sinced Butler's time... destabilize and send in the troops as the enforcers. Meanwhile the corporations loot the resources of whatever country happens to be the target. Now that nukes are part of the puzzle the game becomes infinitely more dangerous but I doubt that it is enough to deter the greed of the people in charge.
