Cindy Sheehan became a leader of the antiwar movement after her son, Casey, was killed in Iraq. Her efforts to get answers from President Bush, including a vigil in Crawford, Texas, have received national media attention. She has a website and radio show, is the author of Peace Mom: A Mother’s Journey through Heartache to Activism and wrote the introduction to 10 Excellent Reasons Not to Join the Military.

This must be the only website not screened for content and actually willing to listen to all sides. But I don’t think you’ll get many warmogers here. perhaps because there are fewer and fewer out there. Too bad the ones still standing are most of our politicians.

When the Peace Mom became an anti-zionist, the mainstream mass media dropped her like a hot potato, as did the Obama cultists …..gee, I wonder why!

With great women like Cindy Sheehan, Sibel Edmonds and Karen Kwiatowski, you would think people from the feminist movement would praise them and come to their defense. I never see anything like that, or defense from any progressive group.

Congrats on the quitting cigarettes, Scott. Keep on truckin' Cindy. I'd love to join you in D.C. but I'm living on another continent and can't get vacation time for that month. But, if I somehow manage to get back home in March I'll be sure to come to D.C.

Cindy sometimes changes her story , which I accept as a sign of inteligence . The subject was just pull out of Iraq ! Than Cindy said " what will happend to the Iraqi people ? " Obama also must have pondered this question . I cant tell if Iraq is better off now than before the war ? I dont know if Sadam Hussian or the Shaw of Iran were worse or better than what both countries have now . I definately would say Christians and Jews were safer before these countries changed leadership .
I also dont believe our meddleling in these two countries has helped our finances or our image in the court of world opinion
