Jason Ditz, managing news editor at Antiwar.com, discusses the UN war against Libya, where goals and exit strategies are uncertain; problems with an east/west division of Libya, assuming a prolonged stalemate; Obama’s curious bypassing of Congress, as the legislature generally approves of any military action; the seemingly unlimited US appetite for global intervention and budget deficits; and how official justifications for hypocritical foreign policies have been laid bare for all to see.

  1. Sadly – the idiots and morons, crooks and thieves, TRAITORS, and cowards in the Congress are the ones sitting by and playing their fiddles while our 'dictator' Obama takes the nation into yet another illegal war – playing their fiddles instead of IMPEACHING Obama and removing him from office!

  2. Is it really a war? I thought a war implied two sides fighting each other. This is just a bombing. Has Qaddafi even injured one Western soldier? Some guy getting pummeled isn't 'a fight,' it's just a beating. Given how many beating Qaddafi and friends have meeted out, it's pretty sweet to see them on the other side of some bullying.

  3. Oh, stay tuned oh ignorant one. These things seldom turn out "sweet". But enjoy your sick voyeur war porn, its only a click of the tv screen away. Lies manufactured for the arrogant simple mind's pleasure.

  4. War? What war? O-bomb-um and his Murderous War Mongers (MWM) have already explained that Libya is no war and needed no congregational authentication. It's just a warm and fuzzy "humanitarian intervention". Feel better now?
