Andy Worthington, author of The Guantanamo Files, discusses his micro-fundraiser – give a few bucks to the world’s best Guantanamo reporter why dontcha? – Andy’s very brief employ with NYT in 2008; the unknown Gitmo prisoners, the travesty of military commissions instead of federal court trials for KSM et al; Obama’s tour of Britain where he was treated like a demigod while still holding Brits in Guantanamo, his refusal to deal with Bush “legacy” issues like Gitmo, trials, torture and law with the likely consequence that all will become established precedent.

  1. [...] The 32-minute show is available here, and this time around Scott not only publicised my recent fundraising appeal, which is ongoing, as I still have $400 to raise to reach my quarterly target of $2000, but also asked me to discuss the latest dismal news about Barack Obama, the President who failed. The specific spur for the show — as well as my fundraising appeal — was my recently completed five-part series, “WikiLeaks and the Unknown Prisoners of Guantánamo,” in which I told the stories of 84 of the 779 prisoners held at Guantánamo that had never been told before. 4. O is an evil stupid man.

It's one thing to find that U.S. pols can terrorize U.S.ians into submission. Even more depressing to find that he is idolized in the U.K.

  5. All countrys that murder people in illegal wars or otherwise should be taken to a world court.Stareting with bush for all the lies the 9/11 fauls flag and the illegal wars. Then Obama and after that the rest of the previous governments that didn't follow the constitution and thought they werte above the law.Than Israel and all other countrys that have broken the geniva convention laws and laws against humanity.Other countrys are real bad and need to be punished but the reason the US and Israel first is because they kill men women and children in other countrys with wars all based on lioes. The fact is the US lets any country kill there own as long as the government of that country does what the US wants. They use double standards that seems like a crime in its self. And Israel for the murders and the partisapation in 9/11.Both these first because they are the biggest murders with plans tpo start WW3.Just the fact they are doing things to start a war witjh Pakistan and Iran. And Gates has mentioned China witch will involve Russia.Just attaking Pakistan or Iran could turn into a war that makes WW2 look easy.America will never win they will just succeed in depopulating the planet of possibly all humans even the cowards that started it in there bunkers.
