Jason Ditz, managing news editor at Antiwar.com, discusses his post “Impasse: US Says No Breakthrough in Iraq Talks;” the disagreement on prosecutorial immunity for US soldiers remaining in Iraq; envisioning a State Department-led occupation run out of the world’s largest (and expanding) embassy; the big increase in US troop casualties in Afghanistan during the Obama administration’s tenure; the legendary corruption in all levels of the Afghan government; and why a US military excursion in Uganda took everyone by surprise, even though US involvement goes back a few years.

  1. Ms. Hillary is a real man’s man, especially in her tough talk about Iran and Venezuela. But, her talk about kids and food for kids, never in her political career as both are off the table.

For a moral democracy is where those without wealth have equal control of government, as evidenced by a minimum wage sufficient to keep laboring class kids from going hungry. Comes now Empire USA to be a wealth dictatorship, where the politicians with the most donations always win, and where the lower half of society avoids such a charade by not showing up at the polls. For when 20 percent of American children suffer hunger— in no way can it be a democracy.

  2. Talk about food for kids, in Iraq or USA, according to Ms. Hillary its off the table.

  3. Food is off the table but bombs are always on the menu. Having her own sturmtruppen will only embolden this crazy Kommisar of the American Soyuz. Watch out.
