Code Pink activist Kit Kittredge discusses her participation in the most recent Gaza flotilla that was intercepted by Israeli warships in international waters; how American tax dollars pay for Israel’s weaponry, making the US complicit in human rights violations; drawing attention to Israel’s apartheid state by repeatedly challenging the illegal blockade of Gaza; why activists arrested in Israel shouldn’t count on their embassies to help them out; and how Gaza is being systematically strangulated, as Israel destroys its infrastructure and commerce and prevents rebuilding.

Kit Kittredge is an activist with Code Pink.

  1. REPEAT BAD HISTORY — NEVER

Thanks to this so called freedom flotilla, “The Wave Of Freedom,” our Western world has been pacified by the illusion that Israel is now peacefully repentant. Surely, with friends like this Gaza needs no enemies.

For in a democracy, zero resistance protesting does more harm then good, especially when your a small minority going up against the 51% most wealthy voting majority. For no darkness is more dark, nor police state more brutal, then a democracy controlled by wealth.

    So a better way:
    (1) When your freedom flotilla first encounters Israel’s war ships in international waters, 12 miles out to sea or beyond, back off and start a dialogue. Tell them that you have a right to sail anywhere in international waters, that you have no intent to break international law and your plans are none of their business.

    (2) Then send out an SOS to all the ships at sea and all the Western world, for war ships engaged in piracy have destroyed all your international rights.

    (3) Then when over a hundred ships filled with protesters join your flotilla, some with speed boots faster then anything Israel has at sea, have a community meeting.

  2. Don't need Kit for a Gaza report, read Chomsky or Fisk for thorough reports

  4. EVEN LIGHT IS LIKE DARKNESS

In a democracy, such zero resistance protesting does more harm then good, especially when your a small minority going up against the upper half voting majority, the half free of debt as it has all the wealth. For no darkness is more dark, nor police state more brutal, then a democracy controlled by wealth.

“Babylon, land of deepest shadow and deep darkness, where even light is like darkness.”

  5. @pendulum
I think you are wrong! Both Fisk and Chomsky seem to tell the truth, but the problem is what they avoid to mention. Kit is GOOD to have. Chomsky has his audience, so does Fisk.

  6. @John Ellis
How do you know THE LIGHT, if there were no darkness? Aren’t you too judgemental about Babylon?
The history you refer to is written by does against Babylon. Its like France writing the history of events in Libya!!

  7. WHAT YOU WISH FOR — TAKE CARE

An accident in Iran recently caused the death of 17 people. Whereupon, Ehud Barak the Defense Minister of Israel, thought the explosion great news, saying, “It would be desirable if they multiply.”

Self-inflicting stupidity, surely, for to wish our enemy defeated is an invitation to seek peace before a war. But to wish our enemy dead, this is a declaration of no mercy during the war, and to the looser — a genocide their fate for sure.

  8. I wish all Defence Ministers in the world shoot their president or leader or king or whatever first and then themselves. And all the military personnel, conventional or unconventional, private or public turn their guns at each other and shoot. Cause none of their lives are worth the dry leafs of the Palestinians olive trees. The ones that those so-called gods-chosen-people burn. But that’s beside the point here. I’m talking about the rhetoric!!

  9. The Point, asks, “How would you know light, if there were no darkness?

    (1) Darkness is an illusion of good hiding misery, a liars pretense of good hiding an intent to be enriched upon our misery.

    (2) Light is truth, which is anything that exposes a pretense of good and forces the darkness to give way.

The Point, asks, “Are you condemning Babylon?

In prophesy the word Babylon means a nation controlled by liars who use illusions of light and pretenses of good to lock the people in darkness.

For news is new light that saves us from darkness, whereas, mainstream media is new darkness that destroys the light.

  10. Kit Kittredge? I'm sure I could look this up somewhere, but is that a pseudonym, taken from the American Girl line of historical books and other merchandise? Or is that really her name?

  11. My compliments to Kit Kittredge. I'm glad she survived her encounter with the Zionist criminals from Tel Aviv. Other Americans–the men of U.S.S. LIBERTY, the people on board last year's flotilla, Rachel Corrie et al.–weren't so lucky. And don't expect any help from the U.S. Government, either. O-Bomb-a and Hillary Clinton put Israel's interests ahead of their own country's interests.

Israel is a criminal state backed up by another criminal state–namely, the U.S. Government.

  12. You know, if I had my way, I'd have one of our attack SSNs maintain station submerged with the flotilla. If any Zionist craft tried to interfere–well, it's voyage to the bottom of the sea for 'em, baby!

Shit, it's bad enough that Turkey let Israel get away with killing nine Turkish citizens. The U.S. Government lets Israel get away with killing Americans.

  13. @John Ellis
You are not answering my question, you just repeat yourself with same type of rhetoric, slightly different formulation friend!! But that’s OK, as long as you ponder on the question with as little bias as possible. What’s your mother-tongue John?

    @Orville
Got news for you, Turkey is a turkey in cahoot with your “beloved” small Bank-dom-entity. They just put up some show for the baaa-baaa’s and mooo’s. In private Erdogan tastes some Black-emperor butt.
But that’s OK too, he deserve every lick.

  14. Per the inquiry about Kit Kittredge's name:

Kit lives in my neck of the woods.
"Kit" is a nickname- her real name is Ann Marlow Kittredge, although she was briefly (but legally!) known as Ann Kittredge Siemions.
