Ray McGovern, member of Veterans For Peace and former senior analyst at the CIA, discusses his personal reasons for supporting heroic whistleblower Bradley Manning; McGovern’s own experience with classified information during the Vietnam War (like Daniel Ellsberg, he regrets not exposing the government lies sooner and perhaps curtailing the war – saving countless lives in the process); why exceedingly few government employees that will sacrifice their careers to tell the truth, even with monumental consequences for maintaining the lie; the “Shooters walk free, whistleblower jailed” German television production on the WikiLeaks “Collateral Murder” video and Manning; and how WikiLeaks and Manning embarrassed the government and helped ignite the Arab Spring – but that doesn’t mean they have blood on their hands.

MANNING’S LIGHT — NO SMALL THING
If there were ever a battle between the noonday sun and the dead of night — which would totally destroy the other?
And so it is with the battle between Manning’s enlightenment and government brainwash darkness, and for an absolute if corporate owned media had reported the truth, single-handedly Manning’s massive amount of light would have so illuminated all the corruption done behind closed doors that we would now have all new politicians, tax payer funded elections and all our troops back home rebuilding infrastructure.
So, the corporate rich owning and funding all of mainstream media, all news (new reality) converted to propaganda and misinformation, what does this actually accomplish? Well, it mixes light with darkness such that you see light as darkness, fall in love with darkness and hate those who walk in the light thinking they be most evil darkness.

I have to say I was touched Ray!
Knowing that there is morality in the line of work that you did, is priceless.
And I love any inside info on any subject which can shed light on the corrupt system (not systems) world over, especially those regarding most heinous of all the Empire’s!
Priceless is also the fact that Assange needs 3,5 million yearly to run a volunteer based operation. With that kind of money a few antiwar sites could run smoothly, right Scott?
Whistle-blowers don’t get pay of course, cause if they do, well then they are selling info and are not considered moral/ethic objections.
After paypal, visa stoped wikileaks payments, they claimed revenue loss of about 15 million.
Now that is what I call moral dilemma ;D Also the guy that betrayed Manning is called LAME-O for kcuf sake. Not to mention Brad bragged.

Each exists ONLY in the absence of the other.
And only a mere huMan with auto-generated and -inflicted and -sustained illusions and delsusions of grandeur could even imagine a "battle" between noon and midnite…
There is only the perpetual, eternal embrace of darkness and light….. and there is the climax of this embrace twice within each 24 hour period.
It is called "Dusk" and "Dawn."
And it is neither noun nor verb, but process.
Just as we each, all, and every one of us is and are.

If you are going to depend upon the corporate (or liberal/progressive/radical) media to ensure that TRUTH is broadcast thru-out the realm, you have hitched your wagon to a star in the process of being sucked into the biggest Black Hole in the history of this iteration of human beings.
Further, if your hope lay in the American people actually sitting down and reading and digesting and thinking about and acting upon what Manning disclosed, and thus and thereby electing "new politicians with tax-payer funded elections and re-called troops rebuilding infrastructure," you grossly overestimate both the attention span and will-to-action of this people.

To destroy something is to cause it not to exist in its present form. Darkness for example, it exists in two different forms and in both the light destroys its existence.
Physical darkness, when physical light illuminates such darkness and its rays give objects shape and color visible to the naked eye, then light has forced the darkness to give way, for darkness cannot exist in the light.
Mental darkness, which is an illusion of good hiding misery, a liar’s pretense of good hiding an intent to be enriched upon our misery, when the light of truth illuminates the illusion of good, destroying the illusion and exposing all the misery hidden from the mind’s eye, then the darkness no longer exists, truth has come and the truth has set the victim free.

Bless their darling hearts, for we are enslaved by the organized will or our voting majority, the 51% most educated and wealthy who have all wealth and power. And more then that, since the beginning of civilization all societies have been ruled by the identical upper half slavery.
Still, an attitude adjustment by out our 51% slave drivers, this is our only hope, and to say that it is all hopeless and beyond all possibility, surely this would mean that this world has no purpose, life is absolutely meaningless and that our highest and only priority is to maximize pleasure, the whole pleasure and nothing but pleasure.

Have you ever sat with your mind stilled and your mouth shut long enough to watch the day become nite? Or the nite become day?
There is no Forcing of light to give way to darkness or vice versa…. There is no Destruction of the one and Creation or Ascendency of the other.
There is simply transition, and transformation, and transcendence. And movement toward the next Changing.
In the face of a Black Hole, on the other hand, NOTHING gives way. Physical light — from a sun or the billion suns of a galaxy — can neither illuminate nor penetrate, nor escape, a Black Hole.
Light can not and does not exist in this darkness (which, we are told, constitutes some 80 plus % of the Known and UnKnown Uni-/Multi-Verse[s]).
But Consciousness can.
And does.

Where's the effing urgency? I suspect we don't treat PSYOP attacks as attacks for the same reasons we don't think mental illness is really illness. It's just psychology, not really as real as physics, right? News flash: words jack us to war, not soldiers with guns at our doors. Words can, and do, reliably and repeatedly kill. Wordsmiths, of all people, should get that.
