Anthony Gregory, Research Editor at the Independent Institute, discusses his article “Non-Interventionism: Cornerstone of a Free Society;” why war is just legalized mass murder, made acceptable because a state – instead of an individual – does it; why Americans have a hard time seeing their own government as an aggressive war-maker (we’re the good guys!); the irony of veteran soldiers (who supposedly fought for our freedom) getting killed by cops while peacefully demonstrating; and getting lied into war yet again, this time with Iran.

  1. War is just another way for the 1%ers to loot the 99ers. And not just taking their money, but also their lives. 99ers have always been against war, except on rare times at the beginning when 1%ers can roil up the masses into a patriotic or fear frenzy.

  3. So why is Scott is willing to consider the possibility of a false flag attack in Oklahoma City in 1995 and not in New York City in 2001?

  4. OKC was a final dress rehearsal for 9.11, following the 1993 WTC "attack."

When the perpetrators of OKC saw how easy it was to get away it, they proceeded with 9.11 .

When they, those who benefitted most from OKC and 9.11, determinine that the time has come to reap further and greater benefit from another Horror Show, WHO and/or WHAT is going to stop them? And HOW?

  5. "Hey Dude…… it ain't our fault you people choose to live on sand that is above OUR Oil, now is it?

"If you'd just move and give it all to US, everything'd be just fine."

  6. Those times when the masses can be roiled up into a patriotic or fear frenzy are not so rare, eCAHNomics.

In fact, they happen with a very disturbing degree of regularity.

Why do you suppose that is?

  7. There's some cause for hope, I suppose, as long as there are men like Anthony Gregory, Glenn Greenwald, Paul Craig Roberts, Philip Giraldi, James Bovard et al. out there.

The U.S. Government is off the rails. Of course, it's been said that people get the government they deserve. Well, American sheeple, what about it? . . .

  8. @jgmoebus: Agreed, that OKC was done by some of the same persons as did WTC 93, especially due to the common "signature": an ANFO bomb in a rental truck. But because OKC added internal demolition to the action, the ANFO bomb is transformed from being the main cause as in 93 to being a diversion. This internal demolition is what is tested and found to be un-noticed by the public, their attention directed to the diversionary curbside parked truck.

The problem for me is that the OKC bomb seems directed by the OKC ATF against some federal agent in the building that is to blame for David Koresh getting advanced warning of the ATF raid on his compound. The object of the bomb seems so small.

Of course, if you consider 9/11 to be at its core only an elaborate insurance fraud by arson, then it too seems too small for the political significance that the event takes on.

Bob Aldridge -www.plrc.org-wrote on the missiles in Bulgaria, Romania and Poland: Whether they are on ships or land, they are still a necessary component for an unanswerable first strike. This leads to Launch On Warning, probably by the end of the decade and orobably earlier if the US is stupid enough to attack Iran.

  15. is there a place to see Anthony Gregorys thesis on waco?
