John Glaser, Assistant Editor at Antiwar.com, discusses UN Special Envoy to Syria Kofi Annan’s proposed ceasefire deal; the difficulty of negotiating with Syria’s decentralized and leaderless opposition; a Cold War-type proxy battle, with Russian and Iran supporting the Assad regime and the US aiding the rebellion; forcing Iran into an impossible-to-accept “Rambouillet” ultimatum – purposefully designed to start a war; and why the Obama administration’s Iran agenda still can’t be deciphered.

John Glaser is Assistant Editor at Antiwar.com. He is a former intern at The American Conservative magazine and CATO Institute.

  1. Military Industrial Complex — Industry controls the military

Horton and Glaser are of the opinion that Washington is controlled by power plays between politicians, bureaucrats and military generals. So. we must be quick thinkers and listen carefully to those among us with the highest intelligence.

Whereas, I’m of the opinion that Empire USA is an absolute top-down dictatorship run by a power combine of the richest of the corporate rich in New York and those in Washington are paid-actor paper tigers reading from a script. So, we must be slow and careful thinkers and follow me. For hardly ever was their born a more slow and careful thinker then me.

  2. In short, if and when the corporate rich decide it will increase profits, then we shall bomb Iran. For we humans are nothing more then robots to be emotionally programmed by the super-genius rich nobility.

  3. Trayvon Martin death won’t go to Fla. grand jury — So says Prosecutor Corey

With no grand jury, all is secrecy which means that all is corruption. So, who are the deceitful ones that assigned Corey to the case? Well, we will never know, because the voting majority, the 51% most educated and wealthy, in their desire to maximize wealth they want it that way.

  4. I very deeply regret but it confirms my concerns about antiwar.com. This is negotiating with the organ grinder's monkey and not the organ grinder and the string puppet and not the puppeteer. The problem is not that the various Coloured Revolutionary and Jihadist organisations are incompatible (let alone divided) but they are run by the Empire though its various European and Middle East osy states.

The negotiations have to take place with Quatar, Saudi and Turkey, but that of course blows Plausible Deniability and the Covert Op.

it has already been leaked in Britain the Empire ORGANISED the opeation.

Oh by the way it's the Syrian government.

Perhaps somone should have a word with Justin Raimondo.

Yer antiwar.com continues to say these things.

  5. Egyptian Constitution put on hold — Anti-Muslims want an anti-Muslim government

Only 10% of Egypt is not Muslim, so allowing 40% of the members of the Constitution Convention to be non Muslims is more then fair, right?

Wrong, for the military dictatorship today terminated the Convention alleging that a Muslim Constitution was not legal.

Obama second term ‘in hands of 30 million unemployed’

For 49% of Americans are laboring class, all those with no education but some high school, all those earning a starvation minimum wage, and they are the half of voters that never show up at the polls, they being not so stupid as to waste time voting for their next set of dictators. And as most all of the unemployed are laboring-class people, the unemployment rate will have absolutely no effect on any election.

As to who will be the next U.S. President, it is impossible to tell as the corporate rich have not yet decided who will be the next President. So, keep an eye on which candidate the corporate mainstream media portrays as the one most intelligent, for that will be the next paid-actor President for Empire USA.

For the voting majority is the 51% most educated and wealthy, they own all the wealth and government always acts in perfect harmony with their greedy will.

A liar’s pretense of good hiding an
intent to be enriched upon our misery.

As for all the public opinion polls, all paid for by the corporate rich, if you want a poll to be most liberal then do it in a slum, if you want a war-hawk public opinion you do it in a Country Club neighborhood. Surely, who pays for the poll, gets exactly the outcome they pay for.
