The majority of the people in Montenegro are against independence and want union with the Yugoslav Federation, according to the results of an opinion poll conducted by the newspaper "Vreme".

Specifically, of the 1.000 people who have answered the questionnaire by Belgrade's news agency PRA, 49% is against independence and 39% is in favor.
