At least seven Iraqis
were killed and 16 more were wounded. No Coalition deaths were reported. Meanwhile,
a journalist known for throwing shoes at U.S. President Bush is
in good condition and being treated well, according to his brother.
Three
civilians were killed and five more were wounded during a roadside bomb attack
in Ishaqi.
In Mosul, gunmen stormed a home where they killed
a woman and wounded two others. A roadside bomb attack in Zanjili left
three Iraqi soldiers
injured. A soldier was wounded
in a roadside bomb attack. Also, the body
of a Christian belonging to the Armenian church was found; no nationality
was given.
A Katyusha rocket landed near a government center in Kirkuk
and wounded
a civilian.
A policeman's
body was found in Mussayab.
A political
candidate was killed in a drive-by shooting near Hilla. Four
bodyguards were injured.
Three suspects were arrested
in Balad Ruz.
In Baghdad, a U.S.
soldier was injured during a bombing in New Baghdad. A Katyusha rocket
struck the Green Zone, but no
casualties were reported.
Police in Baquba imposed
a curfew in order to implement security operations that have so far netted
18 suspects.
