Ron Paul Launches New Peace Institute

From Ron Paul’s former Congressional foreign policy aide, now executive director of his new Peace Institute, Daniel McAdams:

The Neo-Conservative Era Is Dead

Former Congressman Ron Paul will hold a press conference this Wednesday to launch his next big project: the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity. After decades in and out of the US House of Representatives leading the call for a non-interventionist foreign policy and the protection of civil liberties, Dr. Paul is launching a revolutionary new vehicle to expand his efforts. The Institute will serve as the focal point of a new coalition that crosses political, ideological, and party lines.

The Ron Paul Institute will focus on the two issues most important to Dr. Paul, education and coming generations. It will fill the growing demand for information on foreign affairs from a non-interventionist perspective through a lively and diverse website, and will provide unique educational opportunities to university students and others.

The neo-conservative era is dead. The ill-advised policies pushed by the neo-cons have everywhere led to chaos and destruction, and to a hatred of the United States and its people. Multi-trillion dollar wars have not made the world a safer place; they have only bankrupted our economic future. The Ron Paul Institute will provide the tools and the education to chart a new course with the understanding that only through a peaceful foreign policy can we hope for a prosperous tomorrow.

Founder, Chairman, and CEO Dr. Paul has invited the Institute’s board of advisors to speak at the conference, including Rep. Walter Jones, Jr. (NC), Rep. John Duncan, Jr. (TN), former Rep. Dennis Kucinich (OH), Judge Andrew Napolitano, Ambassador Faith Whittlesey, and Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

What: Press Conference To Inaugurate the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity
When: Wednesday, April 17th, 3:00 PM
Where: Capitol Hill Club, 300 1st St., SE, Washington, DC. (California Room)

  1. This guy should be sitting in the Oval Office not the sociopathic Commie currently reigning. Too bad most Americans were too stupid to see it.

  2. Add my thanks to Eric for this post.
Best news I have heard in a long time.
Let us hope that this spells the end not only of neoconservatism but also of the "human rights" imperialism to which the so-called progressives have fallen prey.

  3. I don't know how many times I've posted this on Facebook and other sites, that I hoped Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich, when they left Congress, could combine forces on the issues they most agree about, which is quite a lot these days, not only anti-war, but return to Constitutional rule of law (away from the excessive secrecy and Bush-Obama model of imperial, all-powerful war presidency). Along with Ralph Nader, they also essentially agree about the financial and campaign corruption exercised by banksters and the Military Industrial Complex. Walter Jones and Judge Napolitano hit it out of the ballpark more than once too!

  4. It is a good idea. But we really need like minded people to run and get elected to the local, state and federal office. Lets run, run, run!

  5. Let's hope it works. But I'm concerned about making "prosperity" a co-equal goal of the Institute. The inordinate desire of money is one of the main reasons we don't have peace. We should seek virtue (Truth, Beauty, Justice, Moral Excellence), not money. Virtuous people are content with the basic necessities of life which are easily procured, and rich in what money can't buy. Thus, 'prosperity' in the true sense follows automatically from virtue. But when prosperity is set as an independent goal, detached from virtue, it works against virtue. This is a fundamental error of the political right today: confounding money and virtue. And a major problem has been precisely that our conservative and libertarian think-tanks are funded by rich people and corporations. So in this sense, nothing has changed.

No offense to Lew Rockwell — I believe he means well, but you cannot serve God and Mammon.

    1. In Ron Paul speak, interventionist foreign policy bankrupts funds from this country, and creates barriers to relations with other countries and stands in the way of prosperity. The fiscal side of war is a good hook for conservatives with not much opinion on foreign policy.

  6. With Ron Paul Institute now in place, hopefully American people will start to learn, wake up one day and realize what's going on with their own politicians. When this day comes, and when the American people do cast their votes wisely in the election , I am quite sure the US will still maintain its world number one position in various aspects and certainly, of course, the world will then be a much more peaceful place for everyone to live in.

  7. Anyone for articles of impeachment for killing U.S. citizens in violation of the 5th Amendment?

  8. From the couple of decades the peace is effected much more due to wars and people don't feel satisfaction at any place. Especially the war against terrorism cause very severe results and the struggle of restoring peace and prosperity by Ron Paul is appreciative. 1. While i, too, appreciate Ron Paul's initiative, I think we must keep in mind the fact that most of the things to happen in the US as well as the rest of the world right now are almost entirely a PR thing…

  9. Interesting post and thanks for sharing. Some things in here I have not thought about before. Thanks for making such a cool post.

  10. After taking for the 2 week load phase, I actually did seem to feel a little better with less soreness and stiffness. Maybe I didn't use it in the correct way but I didn't get the expected results from using it. The L'il Critters brand of vitamins works for us because…well, they are vitamins with no junk in them and while I wish I ate a nutritious diet, sometimes I don't so I feel much better taking vitamins. I believe it is the "puffiness" that sort of helps "lift up" some facial wrinkles. ~mArK Edit: After that last supply ran out, I "tried" going without it, as an experiment. http://www.earmarks.org

After I use a toner, I only use this product before I apply my foundation. At under $90, this was a little more acceptable to spend. Not cheap, but not the most expensive either. This product rocks only thing that cleared up my sons mullescum and we tried everything! Doesn't hurt doesn't leave scar its just stinky. I DIDN'T! It was def 100% a BOY result. This is a nice product. Thank you for making this available! http://www.bing.com/

  11. The more information government gathers on people, the more power it has over them. The more government surveillance, the more intimidated Americans become.

  12. I think this is definitely an amazing project here. So much good will be coming from this project. The ideas and the work behind this will pay off so much.

  13. excellent. one of the best articles I have every read. This is the information which I have been searching. Great information I will tweet to my friends to get them to check it out. keep it up. Thanks for sharing!
