Sy Hersh on Democracy Now Discussing Turkish Role in Syria Chemical Weapons Incident

Antiwar.com is linking to Seymour Hersh’s latest report indicating the potential role of the Turkish government in unleashing the chemical agent sarin in Syria last year and the possibility that it was done intentionally in order to instigate a U.S. military action against the Assad regime. Hersh spoke about the piece on Democracy Now:

  1. Why isn't Obamanation preparing to attack Turkey? U.S. needs to institute regime change in Turkey. Let the bombs fly!

  2. Nothing yet in the mainstream media. It's a case of too hot to handle//not up to their standards.
    But for all the 'I told you so' folks- and I'm not including myself here: Turkey's role has been underestimated. Sure, there's been an awareness but the big players were presumed to be SA and Qatar with US/UK/France in a supporting role. Would it make sense to claim the main player is Turkey, and Saudi Arabia and the gulf monarchies have a much lower impact?

  3. Slowly, slowly, this story has legs. The "pipeline" through Bengazi is potentialy a bigger story than Iran-Contra. No big interest yet but wait – it's coming. Obama-Hillery-Kerry will all get hit big-time with this.

  4. Who knows to which degree the turkish government does control it's military forces? Could it be, fx. that forces in the US and/or israeli and/or some other military/intelligence (Saudiarabia…) have been making this operation using Turkey as a smokescreen?

    Looking at what is going on in fx. Ukraine or southern Europe, Venezuela, parts of Africa etc. etc., it seems to me obvious that we are now witnessing a kind of balkanization plus barbarization of the whole world, the so-called globalization is unravelling itself as so to speak the collapse of humankind, controlled and tyrannized as usual by it's psychopats, now sitting on top of the global corporate and banking powers, resembling more and more global mafiosos alltogether.

Because humans don't REALLY like each other, they just tolerate each other and when that tolerance runs out, then its time to kill one another.
