The following graphic illustrates that many of those who want regime change in Syria are fighting each other.

WOAH THERE.
This graphic is way MSM
1) Islamic State is rather supported by Saudi Arabia and prolly other local Sunni regimes
2) US is fighting ISIS in a suspiciously lackluster way and the top ISIS commander is suspiciously previously US-supported ("previously on Battlestar Regime Change")
3) Turkey is fighting PKK for some reason but supporting ISIS against Kurds, providing transport services. Not sure they have stopped.
4) Israel is fighting Syrian Government, not sure about what else they are doing
5) US un-supports Russia, who is fighting Rebels of all couleur
6) Everybody is fighting against the civilian population
The fact of whether anyone "wants regime change" is not very salient either. The question is, what do they want "regime change" TO, or do they even have any idea?
"The question is, what do they want "regime change" TO, or do they even have any idea?"
They are looking for another Ahmed Chalabi to be their puppet leader in Syria.
But ISIS sure does not.
Some one must take care
Of this mess.doesnt us
Have some neutronbombs
Stashed away somewhere
My thoughts is of biblical proportions gettin rid of people
But saving valuable resources
Once and for all since god abonded
Us usually nice people.
I had pretty much concluded before Putin's offensive that Sunni ISIS and all the so called 'moderate' Sunni rebels, all of whom are fighting Assad and are all enemies of Shite Iran are basically one and the same all covertly armed, supported and protected by the U.S., UK, France, Saudi Arabia, Israel, UAE, Qatar etc etc.
But now that Putin has launched devastating and crushing air strikes against all the rebels destroying their command and and control, and supply lines, it becomes quite clear after two years that the so called war against ISIS was all just make believe and pretend. Now I am absolutely certain that ISIS was nurtured and created as a proxy of the U.S. and all our 'friends'
Following the Arab Spring which surely was covertly started by all the usual suspects above, and following the removal of Kadafy in Libya they turned their covert attention to Assad. No one seems to be asking the question why are they suddenly as of only a few years ago became obsessed with removing Assad. He is no better or worse than sell the other butchers we support in Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
And what exactly is their end game once Assad is gone? Who takes over there? Nobody is asking these questions.
Its basically Wahhabism, Zionism and Imperialism versus Mother Russia and Arab Nationalism. I don't know about you guys but I know which side I'm on and it ain't the one with the black flags and American pick-up trucks.
Color me seditious. I'm with Putin on this one boys.
It's encouraging to see at least some Americans who aren't supporting their country's wars of aggression. Let's hope it's not motivated by racist hate for Obama. Let's hope it's still there when the US gets a real warmonger for president.
I could care less what color Obama is. A warmonger is a warmonger. Both parties are loaded chicken hawks. The Democrats chicken hawks just happen to be a little more diverse.
I'm voting for Jill Stein or maybe even Gary Johnson if he runs.
The Levant Report article said the U.S. trained him (Omar the Chechen) years ago when he was fighting for Georgia. It doesn't say, or suggest, that the U.S. is training him now. It seems to distract people from the reality of the U.S. fighting an enemy (ISIS) who is fighting an enemy (Assad).
USG have made a deal with regimes that are engaged in Syrian regime change, from Swedish monarchist to European neo liberals to Saudis barbarism military wings (ISIS) to Qatari to Wahhabism and to Turkish Islamic fake "democracy" and everyone else involved. Saddam Hussein, Syrian government, Libya and Iran need to be destroyed by western falsified democracy-countries here mentioned. The main idea presented by Paul Wolfowitz to Bill,Clinton and later Bush militarism regime. Bush and his gang of neo fascism hade their idea how to implement their fake democracy and Obama have his idea about Paul Wolfowitz dictation to USG how to approach. To destroy and cause devastation to nations that are NOT complying with USG-Europe Neo liberals-NATO and Saudis, Turkish fake Islamic democratic regime , the Qatari and etc needs to be destroyed completely, Syrian people experiencing the fact first hand. These regime have made Syria, Iraq, Libya available for every dictatorial, fake and falsified democracy to be grabbed, by religious terminology, by fake Islamic terrorism, by militarism And all other inhuman method ps out there, and if they don't then the nation and the country needs to destroyed and by all means and that's what these regimes are doing to Syrian people. At no time in recent years 4 million people been displaced and lost their homes due to such inhuman policies orechestrated and implemented, not even during Hitlerism, but in 2015 the Neo liberalism have managed to overcome the numbers by far more then Hitlerism.
Does anyone have any perspectives on the role of oil-dependent, industrialized infrastructures in that paradigm?
What is it about that region of the world that so obsesses our nations respective leaders to want to intervene there?
It seems to be getting more and more complicated with more parties entering this conflict. However, some things are more than clear. It's all about several people's ambitions who are ready to drown millions in blood if this is the price for power.

This article linked from antiwar.com gives some great details about US support for one of the main military leaders of ISIS http://levantreport.com/2015/09/18/isis-leader-om…
