According to press reports yesterday, Saudi Arabia is assembling a 150,000 man military force to invade Syria from Turkish soil and fight against Islamist terrorists in that country. But surely the rest of the world knows that for the past five years or more, Saudi Arabia has been the main source of support for those same terrorists. If the invasion goes forward — and it apparently has US backing — it would pit Saudi forces directly against Iranian, Syrian, and probably Russian forces. The Russians already said it would be a “declaration of war.” Is the US really ready to unleash WWIII over whether or not Assad stays in office? We ponder these questions in today’s Liberty Report:

Excellent as always. I’m as guilty as anyone on this blog of ignoring these videos out of basic laziness but there well worth the twenty minutes of minor inconvenience. Ron Paul is an indispensable source of knowledge and courage for anyone antiwar, left or right. Now if we can just convince this brilliant old bastard to run for president as an independent, maybe with someone on the left like Ralph Nader, we can take this country back.
I’m with you, especially if this turns into a race between Trump and Sanders and Bloomberg jumps in as an independent. If that happens, Ron Paul should ABSOLUTELY join the race as well. Bloomberg would run on a one term Presidency. Ron Paul could do the same. There would be tons of support and people would demand he be in the debates. Sign me up. Ron Paul 2016!
Claiming that Saudis support ISIS is as delusional as thinking that Russia is fighting ISIS. Pure propaganda not supported by any facts. It is just idiotic that Saudis would execute tens of ISIS fighters one night and send arms to them the next. Do you guys use your brain before you succumb into idiotic conspiracy theories? You are being played bu Putin like true fools.

Do you really think that they are going to fight the Islamist terrorists and not the Assad forces?
