Russia/Iran Sanctions Delayed In House: Policy Change… or Deep State Pressure?

The Russia/Iran sanctions bill passed earlier this month in the Senate has stalled in the House on a procedural issue: bills dealing with revenue must originate in the House. Is there a chance the bill may be scuttled? Don’t hold your breath! Ron Paul reports:

  1. It would be hard to imagine anything in our affairs in the Middle East that is less in our national interests than sanctions, which are in fact totally without cause, on Iran, and this is even more against our interests in our relations with Russia.
    The rumor that the sanctions help us is pure and total fiction. The exact opposite is true. What we need with both of these countries is peace, trade, commerce, tourism, and common sense development of our mutual interests.
