Are they really going to audit the Pentagon? That’s what the new Comptroller has promised. Will they find the estimated $6 trillion the Pentagon itself admits is missing? Don’t hold your breath! If Ron Paul and Company are so doubtful that a good faith audit will occur per perhaps it is time for a new book “End the Military”?
Are they claiming to give out the names of those who bought the first several trillion dollars of bonds Bush Jr used to say that ‘we won’t spend any tax money for this war’? Or was Bush’s cleverly worded promise “…while I’m president”. Since the term limit is two terms, 8 years, and the bonds don’t mature in less than ten years… White Lie comes to mind…
