A week after Secretary of State Tillerson made — then retracted — an offer to talk with North Korea without preconditions, President Trump’s National Security Advisor, H.R. McMaster, told the media yesterday that the US was ready to “compel” North Korea to give up its nuclear program. That means war. US policy seems to change almost hourly and depending on who you listen to, but does the US think its South Korean ally will green-light an attack on North Korea? And if not, then what? We’re trillions in debt for trying to control some very low population low wealth countries and FAILING. So we get to watch them pizz away the half of the budget dedicated to imperialism, and the massive tax break given to the war profiteers who make most of their bread from grabbing up the (daddy?) War Bucks in that huge pile of unattended cash, and how much of what’s left is going to be snatched away … This is the scenario Reagan and Bush Sr said they forced on the Soviets, “they ran out of money first”… but WE are now bankrupt paying (partially) the war debts WE had our leaders spend in our name. O, and they’re short 2000 pilots. They being the Pentagoons. They are 2000 pilots short of what would or WHO would be necessary to just maintain the current mission… and they want to expand to include another 2 countries, one of which MAULED UN and especially from our point of view the US troops in the last time the US, with lots of pilots, planes, tanks, every weapon imaginable, including nukes, vs a country which had been bombed to hell and beyond since the 1930s at least, and more so by the frankly US led offensive, starving, no resources, and they still rolled all the alliance troops into one collective hindquarters and proceeded to kick it. What’s that proverb about forgetting history and repeating it?
