  1. Iraq War I: 1990-1991:

    At that time the only place in the world that had slant oil well drilling technology was in TEXAS. But some how the technology was transferred into Kuwait. Kuwait then used this technology to drill into Iraq and draw oil from an oil field several miles from the border. Iraq discovered this and told the American ambassador Iraq was going to invade and tear out the well; she replied this is a Iraq-Kuwait matter we do not care if you invade.

FDR, after failing to provoke Hitler into attacking American ships(Hitler was trying to avoid war – period), FDR had the Office of Naval Planning come up with an eight point plan involving wide ranging embargoes against Japan, guaranteed to ruin Japan financially and force a war with them. FDR desperately wanted into the then emerging WW2. His eight point plan of embargoes worked with 2400 American service men sacrificed at Pearl Harbor. A totally unnecessary war.
