Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s rush to judgement that Iran was behind the apparent attacks on two tanker ships last week has not galvanized world opinion against Iran, as the neocons hoped. Instead, it was met with high skepticism even among Washington’s closest allies. Has the neocon practice of massively exaggerating and endlessly issuing threats finally destroyed US credibility on the world stage? On today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:

Stupid War 67: This Time It’s Personal
The thought that the only “proper” choices in 2016 were between a sociopathic, warmongering bitch who had no qualms about droning a journalist, and a weak willed moron who could easily be manipulated by neocons who were just waiting in the wings, is quite frightening. It just seems to get worse and worse.
Don’t miss the debate on Wednesday night next week. I hold out a small amount of hope that it won’t be totally scripted, but, you never know.
Tulsi should keep it spicy, if they let her speak, that is.
“if they let her speak”
Exactly what I meant by “totally scripted.”
Do you know, or perhaps someone else who reads this know, if Mike Gravel made the debates or not?
From what I’ve heard, he missed the cut for the first one. Shame, I probably have more in common with him than most candidates for any party. He’s long been one of this countries leading advocates for direct democracy. His campaign is a bit confusing to me, though. It seems to be mostly built on a Twitter account that he doesn’t really run. He seems to have matured from a radical to a full blown avante garde, social media, art instillation. Interesting retirement plan.
“he missed the cut for the first one.”
And that means he’s gone, as he could never get enough exposure to raise his poll numbers without a debate appearance.
I don’t know much about where he stands, other than he seems to be a fairly consistent non-interventionist on foreign policy. I would assume that he is a fairly consistent supporter of civil liberties, which in my book is a very important area to be pro-liberty on. I don’t know if he made any statements as strongly as Tulsi about pardoning Assange, Snowden and Manning though. That right there indicates to me Tulsi has courage and honesty, two characteristics sadly lacking in most politicians.
Yeah, Tulsi is far from perfect but her willingness to take on her own party is a huge plus in my book.
You might want to take a look at this edition of the Scott Horton Show. It is so refreshing to see when someone understands that anti-immigrant/pro-war are two peas in a pod. I don’t know where this meme got started that “invade the world” is on the same page as “invite the world”. In my view they are exact opposites. Also, listening to it exposed me to the writings of Will Grigg. I know you are elated when you read self-described advocates of liberty who are consistent abut it and not just some alt-right retreads, and Will Grigg is the real thing. It’s too bad his life was cut short during the peak of his production.
Tom Eddlem on the Anti-Muslim Propaganda Used to Promote America’s Wars
He supported Assange, Snowden, and Manning from the start.
So do i
He needs 65k donations to make the second debate. He’s at about 50k as of today.
It would always be nice to see two advocates of peace on the stage at the same time. I am really amazed the DNC even allows this rule, as one even quasi advocate of peace is too much for their tastes.
She should move up with very little effort
One hopes but she’s got a pretty big goddamn machine moving against her.
If Pompeo said it, it is a lie.
Pompeo is becoming a Bolton clone completely subservient to Israeli influence.
It is worse than that no one believes the USA any more Not even Americans .Not in Venezuela , Syria , Egypt , the Arab Spring , Ukraine , Libya or Veit Nam . Just too many false flag attacks and Tokin incidents
