High School Yemen Action Club Rallies Against US Support for Saudi War on Yemen

I am overjoyed by this. I started my antiwar activities when I was in high school during the Vietnam War. It is so great to see these teenagers who have a better understanding than the average American adult of what we are doing to innocent Yemenis.

  1. I joined the antiwar movement at 14 after watching Bush bomb Baghdad on CNN. Glad to see the proud tradition of American youth rebellion still lives.

And I lived through the entire Vietnam war without taking a stand for or against it. While my peers were out protesting the war and the draft, I was lost in my own private world of science fiction, math and physics. I marvel at how socially conscious young people can be, and am embarrassed that it wasn’t until I had reached maturity that I even saw anything wrong with the activities of the State. Better late than never.

Thank you wars r u.s., Dave Sullivan, and comrade hermit for seeing the truth at an early age, and doing something about it.
