Trillion Dollar Nuke ‘Upgrade’ – Not An Arms Race?

The Trump Administration continues to spend billions developing and “upgrading” the nuclear weapons arsenal, claiming at the same time that it’s in response to Russian moves and that it’s “not an arms race.” Is there solid evidence to back US claims…or is this just another high-paid jobs program for the military-industrial complex? 1. Trillion Dollar Nuke ‘Upgrade’ – Not An Arms Race?

Another US government boondoggle squandering finite public resources to provide an industrial welfare program for defense contractors under the guise of national security.

Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) is a defective defense doctrine that was developed in the mid 1960’s guaranteeing if one belligerent nation uses nuclear weapons it’s opposite belligerent nation would respond with an overwhelmingly destructive nuclear response (ie a global suicide pact).

It appeared as if humanity had escaped the scourge of nuclear destruction with the US and USSR signing the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (which was recently abandoned by the Trump administration) in late 1987 and the US and USSR signing of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty in 1991 but alas the death cult worshipers operating within the US government have again held sway and have decided to forswear the the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons by developing new classes of nuclear weapons.

These US government policies are not based upon rational well thought out defense theories – rather they are spawn from delusional aspirations of power and greed which place life as we know it on planet Earth at their sinister beck and call.
