President Trump has been consistent on Iran and, unfortunately, consistently wrong. His Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been foaming at the mouth for war with Iran for years, along with the various neocons like Eliot Abrams who serve as cogs in the war machine. As the US moves closer to war with Iran, the utter failure of Trump’s “maximum pressure” policy is laid bare. Trumps failed policies?
Seems to me US and Britain.declared war . upon Irans government in mid 1950s, then they declared war upon Irans populace by installing and backing one of most brutal rulers, the Shah.
Finally the Shah family and cronies got thrown out by the Iranian people and US has been trying to either kill them off by Proxy war buddy Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and Israeli assassinations, . Killing an estimated million Iranians Ior starving them to death.
Trump is not at War by chance or choice, the American populace and its political, educationa and financials are / is at war with Iran.
They elect laders to order war and voluntarily serve within military and financials activities that kill and wound while destroying Irans future.
The policy has not failed, and what is the policy?
Why it is but to cripple, kill and destroy lives of Iranians without costing one precious beyond measure American military casualty; and it is working quite well
It is not just the named Corporates, titled, or political party heads, but all those who work for them that profit at no experience or danger to themselves but 350 millions of Americans as well.
Russia and China should have established bases around the ME, North Africa, Sudan & Somalia to keep the NATO countries out.
Russia did at one time. Syria, Egypt, North Yemen, Ethiopia were all Soviet clients.
