The Hill has become increasingly pro-war and resistant to truth.
An article today by Elizabeth Crisp is entitled: “Here are the eight Republicans who voted against ending normal trade relations with Russia.”
She writes:
The eight GOP “no” votes were Reps. Marjarie Taylor Greene (GA), Matt Gaetz (FL), Lauren Boebert (CO), Thomas Massie (KY), Andy Biggs (AZ), Dan Bishop (NC), Glenn Grothman (WI), and Chip Roy (TX).
All eight Republicans in the House who voted against the anti-war measure have made it a point to stand out in the far-right wing of the GOP and have been holding tight to former President Trump as he plots a potential run for president in 2024. (emphasis added)
Besides the fact that she identifies a pro-war measure as “anti-war,” she is also wrong about Thomas Massie. Trump tried to have Massie kicked out of the Republican Party.
I left a polite comment pointing out the error about Massie (not mentioning the anti-war thing), and after ten minutes, it was deleted and marked “comment deleted.” There was nothing rude or critical, just pointing out the error, which is too much for most of today’s journalists.
I doubt that Crisp actually checked on these facts. She assumed that anyone against the war is pro-Trump and pro-war and didn’t need to check.
The Hill used to be an honest publication.
You want to stay in business and on the Internet, you toe the party line. It’s that simple. Unless you’re so small and fringe no one cares. Then you can holler in an empty field.
Everybody’s IQ goes way down during wartime.
The comment section at The Hill is a cesspool. Better to just read the articles and ignore the comments. Some people are just determined to show that they are morons who can’t carry on a civilized conversation.
February 16, 2022 Chomsky: US Push to “Reign Supreme” Stokes the Ukraine Conflict

I read the article in The Hill that Elizabeth Crisp wrote. There are things I dislike about the 8 Republicans she mentioned but I agree with them on their stance on relations with Russia. In the article, Crisp did not mention Tulsi Gabbard a Democrat. She feels the same way about her as the Republicans she mentioned.
Russia’s war in Ukraine will not be forever war like the ones started and continued by the US.
It will not because Putin will go all in because he is no fool and knows this like I do Pink Prince and now you do as well.
January 26, 2022 What is NATO? Military alliance in spotlight as Russia tries to forbid Ukraine membership
NATO was established in 1949 as a defense against the Soviet Union. Its core principal is mutual defense, enshrined in Article 5 of its founding treaty. There are 30 NATO member. Russia is trying to keep Ukraine from joining them. The threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine prompted NATO forces to mobilize across Europe, evoking for many the military alliance’s first reasons for being.
