    1. Who cares if Ukraine still claims it?
Are you proposing we need to finance or fight this war until Putin is pushed out of Crimea? After 9 years it’s going to take your kids and if they survive, their kids to march in there and take that back.

      1. One thing is sure, it does not have a clear title so no one has an uninterrupted clean title to it. Possession is 9 points of the law, and like ZaSu Pitts says it will be a multi generational slog. Better to lose it than kill all your/their men between 15 & 80. And, in reality, it is probably already lost by too many bad choices over too long a span of time, culminating with picking the overall winner of the lost proxy wars award for Korea, Viet Nam, poor showing in Iraq and ignoble rout in Afghanistan, killed 100s of thousands & squandered trillions. An old tired horse fallen hopelessly behind in great gamesmanship, no longer up to any head to head with the new boys on the block with their hypersonics and mega, mega nukes plus Mensa strategy.

        1. I have a small belief that if NoKo ever invades the south by the time their hungary soldiers get past a few fast food resturants and grab some nice clothes from some pretty sales girls the “fight” will be gone from everyone.
To be serious, why would he be positioning his young daughter to take over if he was planning to use that 1960’s missle he was trying to master to actually bomb something anytime soon?

    2. by a vote of 95% to support it; as Ukraine is a hopeless basketcase economically and the majority of the Crimeans are Russian speaking. Sorry, you’re so propagandized and don’t know what you’re talking about.

  1. Feb 19, 2023 No to War, No to NATO: North American perspectives on Ukraine, Russia, and NATO

For the last year, the war in Ukraine has been reflected daily in mainstream news, but remains an issue clouded by confusion. While events of the last year are front page news, there is little talk about the many years of NATO provocations, aggression and military buildup against Russia. More and more each day, NATO countries including Canada, the US, and England are fueling the war, funneling even more weapons into Ukraine. The Canada-Wide Peace and Justice Network hosted a webinar featuring speakers from Canada, the US, and Ukraine.

  2. Dave brings up a good point. There is literally zero opposition to war with China in Washington. Everyone is just jumping at the chance to poke the China bear, even though they all know how ridiculously dangerous it is. The provocations will add up to something terrible. If only Taiwan will hold an election tomorrow, the pro-China parties will mostly likely win… As it stands right now, the hawks are in power in Taiwan, and we can only pray that make sane decisions and not turn Taiwan into Ukraine 2.0.

  3. Philippines president has been busy running around getting trade deals as per a friend with ties there, please up-date Anti-war news with more stories on this; who is he talking to, who isn’t he talking to,
